Hamilton.- —Between the 16th and 19th ultimo,--from a motor-car, the property of CORNELIUS ALBERT COLLINS, Matangi, a gentlemen’s gold hunting-watch, “'Pascoes' Own Make ”on dial; and a gentlemen’s 18 ct. gold ting, ’set with a large square diamond with yellow tinge in it, in coronet setting: total value, £55. . Bel! and Co., Auckland; a cheque for £l’l6s. on the National Bank of New Zealand, Wellington, signed C. E. Foley ; a cheque for £l4 10s. on the Commercial Bank of Australia, Wellington, signed Vivian A. Hopkirk ; and £25 in money: total value, £9B 9s. sd. Cheques only identifiable... Suspicion is attached to (1) Tom Thomas (name probably fictitious), age "about fifty, height 5 ft, 11 in.,-hulking build, ruddy complexion, ..brown'’Hair; jogging gait; fond of drink ; dressed. in ' a .dark heathercoloured suit and old soft felt hat: and (2) F. McLaughlin (name probably'fictitious), age about thirty-five, height about 5 ft. 7 in., slight build, fresh complexion* mouse.-poloured hair ; dressed in a dark-grey suit'and old'soft felt Hut." 1
Wellington. —On the 3rd ultimo the dwelling of JOHN" THOMAS BRUCE, 433 Adelaide Road, was broken into , and the following stolen : Two gentlemen’s silver hunting-watches, “J. T. Bruce on, inside case of one ; a gentlemen’s gold curb watch-chain with bar in centre ;. a gold medal with J. T. Bruce, W.H.P.S., presented by E. Farrell,” inscribed on it; a silver life-saving medal with “J. T. Bruce ” inscribed on it; a ladies’ gold hoop-pattern dress-ring, set with eight small diamonds and three large rubies; a, ladies’ gold bandring, set with garnets and pearls ; a gentlemen’s white: metal wristlet watch with'.leather wrist-strap; and one• sovereign : total value, £32 7s. Mostly identifiable.
Nelson. —Ist ultimo, from the sandhills at Tahuna Beach, the property of DENNIS HILTON RHABAZYN, Bronte Street, a gentlemen’s white . metal Swiss wristlet watch, No. 214150, luminous dial, “D. Pliarazyn ” scratched on back of case ; value, £2 2s. Identifiable.
Nelson. -Ist ultimo, from a motor-car, the property of KENNETH ROBERT DAVIS, 47 Nile Street, a gentlemen’s wristlet watch, gold face with scratches on it, thin narrow wrist-strap attached; and 6s. in money : total value, £3 6s. Watch only identifiable. Suspicion is attached to Man (name unknown), height about 5 ft. 6 in., medium build; wearing a blue suit and grey felt hat.

Identifiable. Suspicion is attached to Man (name unknown), age about, thirty -seven, height 5 ft. 8 in., j slight build, fresh complexion, dark hair-; dressed in a navyblue '-suit. The complainant lost the ring in the‘-vicinity-of Rath more and Oxford Streets, and a ring of a similar description was offered for sale to a second-hand dealer.
