UNCLAIMED PROPERTY.
Wellington. Efforts are to be made to establish the ownership of the motor-car tools, described below, which were traced to the possession of George William Lowe, who has been convicted of stealing them from some persons unknown : Two box spanners, two screw wrenches, three screwdrivers, twelve assorted spanners, an engineer’s hammer, a wheelpullar, a pair of insulated pliers, and a pair of slip-joint pliers. On the 13th ultimo a gentlemen’s soft brown leather pocket-wallet was found in possession of Ronald Alfred Edward Haylock, who was arrested for theft of a motor-bicycle, and who states that he stole the wallet whilst employed at the Wellesley Club, Wellington, in October, 1929. On the 24th ultimo a luminous Westclox pocket - watch was found in possession of Timi Pl'ti, who has been convicted of stealing it from some person unknown. The owners afar tp be located if possible.
