APPREHENSIONS, PERSONS FOUND, ETC.

Auckland. — Wilfred Smith Edwards, failing to maintain, was accidentally killed at Stratford in April last. He had assumed the name Wilfred Scott. (See Police Gazette, 1928, page 578.)

Auckland. George Wilfred Bicheno, default of maintenance, has paid tho amount to the Hamilton police. (See Police Gazette, 1930, page 484.)

Auckland. Andrew John Hastie, default of maintenance Warrant suspended. (See Police Gazette, 1930, page 627.)

Auckland. Leslie Eroid Johansen, failing to maintain, has been arrested by the Cambridge police. (See Police Gazette, 1930, page 628.)

Auckland. — Francis Charles Ashman, default of fine and costs, has been arrested by the Newton police. (See Police Gazette, 1930, page 405.)

Auckland. — Sue Kong, unlawfully remaining in New Zealand, has been arrested by the Foxton police. He had assumed the name Leong Quing. (See Police Gazette, 1928, page 485.)

Auckland.— James Charlton, inquired for, has been located by the Auckland police. (See Police Gazette, 1926, page 534.)

Auckland. — -James Joseph Drinnan, default of maintenance : Warrant cancelled. (See Police Gazette, 1930, pages 421 and 515.)

Auckland. — Bernard Gill, default of maintenance, has been arrested by the Kurow police. (See Police Gazette, 1930, page 612.)

Tauranga. Jack Spain, alias John Spain, alias John George McKendrick, default of fine and costs, has paid the amount to the Coromandel police. (See Police Gazette, 1930, page 484.)

Hamilton. — Thomas Claude Mayes, failing to maintain, has been arrested by the Mount Cook police. (See Police Gazette, 1925, pages 396 and 540.)

Rotorua.— John Eaves, failing to maintain, has been arrested by the Rotorua polioe. (See Police Gazette, 1930, page 218.)

Gisborne. — Neil Galloway, failing to maintain : The summons has been served by the Newmarket police. (See Police Gazette, 1930, page 628.)

Wairoa. — David Maurice Morgan, breach of probation, has been arrested by the Dunedin police. (See Police Gazette, 1930, page 442.)

Wairoa. David Maurice Morgan, suspected of shopbreaking, has been interviewed by the Dunedin police. (See Police Gazette, 1930, page 391.)

Wairoa. — David Maurice Morgan, suspected of unlawfully using a motor-car, has been interviewed by the Dunedin police. He states that he was a passenger in the car, which was driven by Frank Perry, referred to in Police Gazette, 1930, page 391. (See Police Gazette, 1930, page 390.)

Wairoa. — David Maurice Morgan, false pretences, has been arrested by the Dunedin police. (See Police Gazette, 1930, page 370.) t

Hawera. — Forrington, theft, has been interviewed, but no evidence resulted. His correct name is Alexander Theodore Fenn. (See Police Gazette, 1930, page 486.)

Wanganui. Timothy Ford, breach of probation, has been arrested by the Wanganui police. (See Police Gazette, 1929, page 212.)

Waipawa.— Edwin James Harmer, alias Ted Warmer, failing to maintain, has been arrested by the Rotorua police. (See Police Gazette, 1930, page 612.)

Palmerston North. —James Kennedy, alias John Thomas Kennedy, alias Watson, failing to maintain, has been interviewed by the Martinborough police. (See Police Gazette, 1929, page 720.)

Wellington.— Robert Clifford Philip, breach of probation : No further action to be taken. (See Police Gazette, 1929, page 594.)

Wellington.— Charles McCarthy, theft, has been arrested by the Dunedin police. He is identical with Brian Charles McCarthy, referred to in Police Gazette, 1930, page 511. (See Police Gazette, 1930, page 652.)

Mount Cook. James Burt, inquired for, has been interviewed by the Parnell police. (See Police Gazette, 1929, page 128.)

Christchurch. Eric Raymond Dean, failing to maintain, has been arrested by the Tiroroa police. (See Police Gazette, 1930, page 218.)

oamaru.— Sydney Clive Humphries, alias Sydney Thompson, suspected of breaking, entering, and theft, has been interviewed by the Dunedin police. He was not at Oamaru when the offence was committed. (See Police Gazette, 1930, page 654.)

- McGavin, suspected of theft, has been interviewed by the Dunedin police. His correct name is David Maurice Morgan. (See Police Gazette, 1930, page 567.)
