APPREHENSIONS, PERSONS FOUND, ETC.

Kaikoiie. — A. Gilbert, suspected of breaking and entering, has been interviewed by the Kaikohe police, but no evidence resulted. His correct name is Melvin Forties Gilbert, and is not identical with A. Gilbert referred to in Police Gazette, 1930, page 235. (See Police Gazette, 1930, page 389.)

Auckland. — William Joseph Groonotte, default of maintenance, has been arrested by the Northcote police. (See Police Gazette, 1930, page 483.)

Auckland. Thomas Hart, default of fine and costs, has paid the amount to the Pongaroa police. (See Police Gazette, 1929, page 828.)

Auckland. — Hopa Georgs Shalfoon, breach of probation, has been arrested by the Whangaroa police. (See Police Gazette, 1930, page 612.)

Auckland. — Bill Cant, unlawfully using a motor-car, has been arrested by the Wellington police. His correct name is Maurice Cant. (See Police Gazette, 1930, page 563.)

Auckland. — Robert Charles Heron, default of maintenance* has paid the amount to the Wellington police. (See Police Gazette, 1930, page 612.)

Auckland. Augustus Stephens Parsons, breach of probation, has been arrested by the Miramar police. (See Police Gazette, 1930, page 611.)

Waihi. David Norman, Goutts failing to maintain, has been arrested by the Cambridge police. (See Police Gazette, 1929, page 760.)

Putaruru. - William McDonald, summons for, has been served by the Te Kuiti police. (See Police Gazette, 1930, page 306.)

New Plymouth.— Bertrand Harold Laurent, failing to maintain, has been arrested by the Auckland police. (See Police Gazette, 1927, page 554.)

Hastings.— Edmund Samuel Smith, failing to maintain, has been arrested by the Gisborne police. He assumed the name Frank Peterson. (See Police Gazette, 1929, page 426.)

Palmerston North. — Roy Caution, alias Snowy Coulton, breach of probation, has been arrested by the Hastings police. His correct name is Roy Barlton Cauiton. (See Police Gazette, 1930, page 484.)

Petone. — John Richard Pashley, missing, has been located by the Palmerston North police. (See Police Gazette, 1930, page 601.)

Wellington. Arthur Gifford St. Clair Isbester, default of costs, has been arrested by the Otaki police. (See Police Gazette, 1930, page 168.)

Wellington. Walter Oscar Lilas Beyer, default of maintenance, has paid the amount to the Ahaura police. (See Police Gazette, 1930, page 502.)

Greymoutii. — Winifred Johnson, default of fine and costs, has paid the amount to the Tiroroa police. (See Police Gazette, 1930, page 516.)

Christchurch. Helena Sutherland, failing to maintain, has been arrested by the Woolston police and committed to the Sunnyside Mental Hospital. (See Police Gazette, 1930, page 259.)

Christchurch. Henry Yaxley, failing to maintain, has been arrested by the Murchison police. He assumed the name Henry Coe. (See Police Gazette, 1930, page 107.)

Christchurch. Thomas Henderson Halliday, breach of probation, has been arrested by the Timaru police. (See Police Gazette, 1929, page 276.)
