Whakatane. —16th or 17th November last, the property of the NEW ZEALAND GOVERNMENT (Post and Telegraph Department), a gentlemen’s B.S.A. bicycle, No. 2008, black-enamelled with red forks and mudguards, no grips ; value, £6. Identifiable.
Rotorua. —On or about the 18th September last, the property of MAUD RAY, Kia Ora House, a ladies’ black-enamelled bicycle, straight handles, black grips (right missing), rubber worn off right pedal; value, £3. Identifiable.

Hawera.Between the 29th September last and the 4th October, from 63 Collins Street, the property of VEARINAH SMITH, an 18 ct. gold brooch set with forty -eight pearls in shape of a harp, a 9 ct. gold dress-ring set with a large opal, a 9 ct. gold ring set with five turquoises (one chipped), a small suede leather purse, and about 10s. in money ; total value, £25 16s. 6d. Identifiable except money.
Woodville. —On the 11th ultimo the dwelling of JOHN EDWIN RICHARDS, McLean Street, was broken into and £lO 10s. in money and an open-face silver Omega wristlet watch with two scratches thereon, leather wrist-strap attached, stolen ; total value, £ls 15s. Watch identifiable. Suspicion is attached to Man (name unknown), age about thirty-five, height about 5 ft. 8 in., strong build, fresh complexion, full face, clean-shaved ; dressed in a dark or navy-blue suit and fawn felt hat.
Palmerston^North.—Bth November last, the property of ROBERT COUGHLAN, 212 Albert Street, a gentlemen’s black-enamelled free-wheel Cooksley bicycle, No. M. 038, downturned handles, black celluloid grips, 22 in. frame, rat-trap pedals ; value, £4. Identifiable.

Lower Hutt. —23rd November last, the property of ANN EVELYN HALL, Frys Lane, a ladies’ black-enamelled fixedwheel bicycle, supposed No. 211235, upturned handles, rubber pedals ; value, £B. Identifiable.
Wellington.—On the 2nd or 3rd November last the shop of SOLOMON RISKE, 168 Cuba Street, was broken into and the following stolen: About one hundred ladies’ wool and cotton or wool and silk Vedonis singlets ; a dozen pairs ladies’ wool and cotton combinations ; seventy-two pairs ladies’ artificial silk stockings, various colours, may be branded “V. B. May ” or “ Rayon Synthetic ” ; and about 100 yards of silk, various colours : total value, £47 10s. Not identifiable.
Wellington. Between the 20th October last and the 18th November, from the dwelling of BERTHA LOUISE WURM, 13 Colombo Street, a ladies’ 18 ct. gold ring with three diamonds and three turquoises in claw setting, one turquoise darker shade than the others ; value, £49. Identifiable.
Wellington. —Between the Bth and 15th November last, the property of RAYMOND LIONEL MURRAY, Morrinsville, a gentlemen’s black-enamelled free-wheel Arab bicycle, No. 57578, rat-trap pedals ; value, £6. Identifiable.
Wellington. —On or about the 24th October last, from the s.s. “ lonic ” between Panama and Pitcairn Island en route to New Zealand, the property of WILLIAM WEST, 144 Abel Smith Street, a combination tiepin and stud, head screws into pin, set with a large ruby surrounded by small diamonds in claw setting; eleven pairs ladies’ silk and art silk stockings and 10s. in money: total value, £2O 17s. Tiepin identifiable.
Wellington.—On the 23rd November last the dwelling of JOHN LEITCH, 238 Rintoul Street, was broken into and the following stolen : £6 in money ; a gentlemen’s 8 ct. gold open-face watch, white dial, black figures, “ H.L.” on back case ; a double gold curb watch-chain with star-shape pendant attached; and a ladies’ 9 ct. gold expanding wristlet watch, No. 316928 : total value, £32 10s. Identifiable except money.
Wellington. Between the Ist April last and the 17th ultimo, from 158 Willis Street, the property of Dr. PATRICK FRANCIS McEVEDY, a Zeiss microscope about 8 in. in height, three eyepieces, on a movable table with reflecting mirror ; value, £4O. Identifiable.
Nelson. —10th October last, from a shed at the Y.M.C.A. grounds, the property of CHARLES DEVORE COLLINS, 76 Nile Street, a Sheaffer gold Eversharp pencil, inscribed “C. D. Collins, from Moss and Spence’s staff, 14.8.26 ”; value, £1 15s. Identifiable.
Christchurch. Bth November last, the property of GEORGE DUNCAN LAW, 24 Clissold Street, a gentlemen’s black - enamelled free - wheel Butler bicycle, No. 65275 and 5260, reversible handles, rubber pedals, Dunlop tires; value, £l2 12s. Identifiable.
Waimataitai. rooms at the tennis courts, Caroline Bay, the property of PETER SCOTT, Washdyke, a gentlemen’s open-face silver watch, black hands, back hinge loose, “ Edwards and Son, Glasgow,” on dial, silver chain attached ; value, £5. Identifiable.
Bluer. —Between the Ist and sth November last, from the s.s. “ Toiler,” the property of the SOUTH SEA PRODUCTS CO., a Standard spirit compass, dial about 7 in. in diameter, • with Hot Shot battery lamps ; value, £ls. Identifiable.
