Otahtjhu. —Since the 17th July last, Sydney Gordon, age seventeen, height 5 ft. 7-| in., labourer, native of New Zealand, strong build, fair complexion, red hair ; usually neatly dressed in a light suit with wide trousers and felt hat. Inquiry by his father, Thomas Gordon, Tennessee Avenue, Mangere East. 'Z'
Wanganui. Since the 18tb ultimo, Mervyn Hood, age fifteen, height 5 ft. 2 in., butcher, native of New Zealand, slight build, sallow complexion, dark hair, brown eyes, two upper teeth missing ; dressed in navy-blue short trousers, blue cardigan jacket, grey flannel shirt, black stockings with white ring round tops, and waterproof hat and overcoat. Tears are entertained for his safety. Inquiry by Stanley Bett Hood, 3| Street. @
Wellington. Since the sth ultimo, P. R. Tutt, age twenty, height 6 ft., marine cadet, native of England, medium build, dark complexion and hair ; and Jack Wigan, age eighteen, height 5 ft. 10 in., marine cadet, native of England, slightbuild, fair complexion. They were cadets on the s.s. “ Northumberland,” and disappeared from the vessel at Wellington. Inquiry by the manager, New Zealand Shipping Company.
Daejbteld. —Since the 10th ultimo, James Carson, age sixtyfive, height 6 ft., farm-manager, native of New Zealand, dark hair, grey moustache. He may be in possession of a singlebarrel breech-loading shot-gun, No. 23186. Fears are entertained for his safety, as he left a note in his hut stating that he intended to commit suicide. Inquiry by Maxwell Bull, farmer, Waddington.
