Auckland. 29th or 30th July last, from 33 Franklin Road, Freeman’s Bay, the property of IRENE HANSEN, 4 Hargreaves Street, two imitation - leather suit - cases, size 24 in. by 14 in. ; one floral and one black crepe do Chine frock ; a floral crepe kimona ; one white and one red silk jumper; three crepe nightdresses; and several singlets, stockings, &c. : total value, £l3 13s. Auckland, —On or about the 13th July last a hut in Tram Valiev, Waitakere, was broken into and the following stolen, the property of the AUCKLAND UNIVERSITY COLLEGE BOARD : A gilt aneroid, size and shape of watch, Short and Mason, London, makers ; and a Westclox alarm clock ; total value, £3 2s. fid. Rotorua. —10th ultimo, from a motor-car in Wairoa Road, the property of ANNIE NEILSON, Te Whetu, a brown composition suit-case with reinforced corners, size .14 in. by 14 in. ; a fawn frock with green piece let in in front; a pink silk and woollen jumper with mauve tie and cuffs ; a brown and blue floral crepe de Chine scarf ; a dozen ladies’ handkerchiefs ; a pair of gentlemen’s pyjamas with blue and white stripes ; a fuji silk shirt, size 6 ; and a quantity of ladies’ underclothing, &c. : total value, £9 IBs. Whakatane. 23rd May last, from a motor-car in King Street, the property of JAMES BARRON, Wellington, a gentlemen’s double - breasted navy - blue nap overcoat, belt with black buckle attached, turned-up cuffs on sleeves ; and a small Swan fountain pen with two gold bands, cap missing : total value, £8 10s. Identifiable.

Petone. —24th or 25th June last, the property of EVA A. ROUSELL, 7 Britannia Street, a ladies’ green-enamelled freewheel bicycle, flat handles, one black grip, front-rim brake; value, £2 10s. Identifiable.

Wellington. Between the 24th and 26th ultimo, from the Winter Show Buildings, the property of RICHARD FRANK SORENSON, 94 Wallace Street, several tools (recovered) ; fifty-two pairs roller-skates, sizes 6,7, and 8, all stamped “ R.S.” underneath front, and mostly stamped “ Winslow and Phillips ” ; a small round nickel-plated clock with green or blue dial; and an alarm-clock with white dial and black hands : total value, £lO2. Identifiable. Suspicion is attached to Arthur Clark (name probably fictitious), age about thirty, height about 5 ft. 8 in., slight build, fresh complexion, brown hair; dressed in a navy-blue suit and light-grey hat.
