Auckland. 23rd May last, the property of GARTH HOPTIN TWIGDEN, 41 Mount St. John Avenue, a gentlemen’s black-enamelled National bicycle, upturned handles, National transfers, Michelin tires ; value, £7 10s. Identifiable.

Auckland. the 13th and 15th April last, from Westfield, the property of the AUCKLAND POWER BOARD, two tarpaulins, size 12 ft. by 10 ft., branded “ A.E.P.8.” ; and a bag of cement: total value, £6 16s. Tarpaulins identifiable.

Suspicion is attached to James Carman, alias Thompson, age twenty-five, height 5 ft. 71 in., farm labourer and waiter, native of New Zealand, medium build, reddish complexion, -brown hair, brown eyes, bad teeth, scar on right upper arm, right eye defective ; dressed in a navy-blue coat, flannel trousers, and grey felt hat. Suspect borrowed the property, which he has failed to return. He also borrowed a horse from a Mr. Thrupp, and may try to dispose of same.
