Auckland.- 20th ultimo, Charles Albert Trenwith, age forty-two, height about 5 ft. 7 in., native of New Zealand, thin buiid, light-brown hair turning grey, blue eyes, upper teeth artificial, lower teeth missing, bandage on running sore on stomach ; dressed in a brown tweed suit with trousers patched at knees, check flannel shirt, navy-blue scarf, light felt hat with brown band, and black boots ; weak intellect. Inquiry by his sister, Selina Eliza Sheridan, 48 Carlton Gore Road, who fears for his safety. *
Mount Cook. —Since the 30th July last, Bernard dames Scanlon, age thirty, height 5 ft. 11 in., wicker-basket maker,, native of Australia, slight build, ruddy complexion, dark hair, blue eyes, clean-shaved, large teeth with gap between upper teeth on left side ; usually dressed in a blue suit and felt hat; may be mentally defective. Inquiry by Ellen Curtis, 72 Tasman Street, who fears for his safety.
