Suspicion is attached to Man (name unknown), age about forty, height about 5 ft. 6 in., medium build, swarthy complexion, dark hair ; shabbily dressed in a dark suit and slouch hat.

Between the 11th and 17th ultimo the dwelling of GORDON PETER ROWE SAUNDERS, Moana Road, Days Bay, was broken into, and the following stolen therefrom : An H.M.V. gramophone, old model, black tin horn, in light oak wooden case ; several gramophone-records ; a pair of gentlemen’s grey tweed trousers, hole above left knee, stained with green paint; a tin of kerosene, with metal pump ; and a white canvas tarpaulin, about 12 ft. by 9 ft., with eyelets: total value, £l4 Is.
