Auckland. — ultimo, for unlawfully converting to his own use a motor-car (recovered), value £330, the property of Sydney James Hayden, Man (name unknown), age twentysix, height 5 ft. 7 in., medium build ; dressed in a dark suit, dark tweed overcoat, grey woollen socks, and grey felt hat. The car was taken from Wyndham Street, and it was subsequently recovered in Kelmana Avenue. No warrant.

The ring was stolen from the bath-room in Lloma House, Bell Street, and on the Ist ultimo it was sold to a second-hand dealer by a man of the description given. No warrant.
