APPREHENSIONS, PERSONS FOUND, ETC.

Houhora. —Arthur Charles Ratio, alias A. G. Ross, failing to maintain, has been served with a summons by the Krutaia police. (See Police Gazette, 1926, page 775.)

Whangarei. — Jssaac Smith, failing to deliver up uniform, has been served with a summons by the Arapuni police. (See Police Gazette, 1926, page 669.)

Whangarei.- William Brock, default of fine and costs, has paid the amount to the Whakatane police. (See Police Gazette, 1926, page 371.)

Newton. —Man (name unknown), assault and robbery : William Gibson Young, who has been arrested for other offences by the Hamilton and Morrinsville police, admits this offence. (See Police Gazette, 1926, page 173, and following paragraph.)

Rotorua. Tw® men (names unknown), assault and robbery : William Gibson Young and Leonard David Williams, referred to in Police Gazette, 1920, page 473, and Photographs, page 40, have been arrested for the offence by the Hamilton and Morrinsville police. (See Police Gazette, 1926, page 52, and preceding paragraph.)

Otahuhu. —Ted Kiernan, suspected of theft, has been arrested by the Auckland police. No further property has been recovered. (See Police Gazette, 1924, page 422.)

. Hamilton. — Hugh Dudley Ciefand, missing, lias been located by the Queen Street Wharf (Auckland) police. (See Police Gazette, 1926, page 750.)

Hamilton. — Francis Bissett, failing to maintain, has been arrested by the Wairoa police. He had assumed the name Frank (lames. (See Police Gazette, 1924, page 176.)

New Plymouth. Frank Burney, alias Charles Burney, alias McLeod, alias Haddington, false pretences, has been arrested by the Dannevirke police. (See Police Gazette, 1926, page 456.)

Hastings. Leo Wilfred Burney, failing to maintain, has been arrested by the Islington police. (See Police Gazette, 1926, page 548.)

Wanganui. — Lee Vernor Pah!, failing to maintain, has been arrested by the Masterton police. (See Police Gazette, 1926, page 827.)

Palmerston North. Charles Williams, default of fine and costs, has paid the amount to the Dannevirke police. (See Police Gazette, 1923, page 703.)

Wellington.— John Graham, alias John Graham Oxley, alias Williams, breach of probationary license, has been arrested by the Wanganui police. (See Police Gazette, 1926, page 828.)

Wellington. John Joseph Kelly, breach of prohibition order, has been served with a summons by the Mount Cook (Wellington) police. (See Police Gazette, 1924, page 176.)

Christchurch. — Lorfenz Ole Neuman, failing to maintain, has been arrested by the Reefton police. (See Police Gazette, 1926, page 580 )

Christchurch. Mathew Swords, on licensed premises during prohibited hours, has been served with a summons by the Lower Riccarton police. (See Police Gazette, 1926, page 535.)
