Whangarei.—Between the Ist and 7th July last the hut of GARNET TINSLEY -JONES, Kamo, was broken into, and the following stolen therefrom : A Kodak Junior camera (No. 212746), a Lizard stylo fountain pen, and 12s. in money; total value, £5 2s. 6d. Identifiable except money.

Newton.3rd July last, from Karangahape Road, the property of RICHARD HARGROVE MARRINON, 4 Bond Street, a gentlemen’s black - enamelled free - wheel Rover bicycle, upturned handles, rubber grips, red Oceanic tires; value, £6. Identifiable.

Auckland.3rd ultimo, from a -carriage between Auckland and Tironui, the property of VIVA CONSTANCE HAY, Princess Street, a ladies’ black patent-leather Sunshine purse; 3s. in money; an 18 ct. gold engagement-ring, set with three diamonds in slightly crossover setting ; and a 9 ct. gold cameo ring with cameo missing, &c. : total value, £3O. Auckland.—On the 16th or 17th ultimo the shop of WILLIAM HENRY MOORE, Pah Road, Epsom, was broken into, and the following stolen therefrom : Three pairs gentlemen’s black box-calf Flexile shoes, sizes 6,7, and 8; three pairs gentlemen’s willow-calf Flexile shoes, sizes 6,7, and 8 ; two pairs ladies’ black patent-leather Flexile shoes, sizes 4 and 5 ; three pairs ladies’ willow-calf Flexile shoes, sizes 4, 5, and 6 ; a pair of gentlemen’s brown-check-felt slippers, size 6 ; and nine pairs infants’ black patent or "glace shoes, sizes 4,5, and 6 : total value, £l9 ss. Identification doubtful.

Auckland.—l9th July last, from a shop in Karangahape Road, the property v of ELIZABETH MATHIESON HASWELL, 44 Ellerton Road, a ladies’ black handbag with purple lining, a diary, £3 in money, a pair of gold-rimmed spectacles, and a war-pensions certificate in name of Elizabeth M. Haswell; No. D. 4493; total value, £6. Identifiable except money.

Auckland. —On or about the 9th ultimo, from his shop in Queen Street, the property of JOSEPH LARRETT, tailor, a pair of shears (recovered); value, £2. Suspicion is attached to George Graham, age about forty-five, height about 5 ft. 7 in., medium build, sallow complexion, dark hair ; dressed in a dark-grey suit and felt hat. The description is that of a man who pawned the shears for Bs. 6d.

Auckland.—On or about the 15th April last, from 192 Balmoral Road, the property of LEONARD EDGAR MEAD, 14 Nelson Street, Petone, an Avonia portable gramophone in oak case, twenty-four gramophone-records, two 4 ft. carpenters’ cramps, an iron floor-cramp, and a quantity of novels ; total value, £lB 10s. Not identifiable. Suspicion is attached'to Charles Bert Power, age thirty-six, height 5 ft. 51 in., cook, seaman, and labourer, native of England, medium build, fresh complexion, brown hair, blue eyes, scars on abdomen, large nose ; stutters.
