Adelaide (South Australia).Stolen from the premises of Stevenson Bros., jewellers, Rundle Street, during the night of the 27th ultimo : A gentlemen’s 18 ct. gold hunting keyless Swiss lever watch, No. 4300 ; a gentlemen’s 18 ct. gold hunting keyless Rotherhams watch, No. 381223 ; a gentlemen’s 18 ct. gold hunting keyless Swiss lever watch, engine-turned case, No. 258091; a gentlemen’s 9 ct. gold hunting keyless Swiss lever watch, plain case, No. 260742 ; a gentlemen’s 9 ct. gold hunting keyless Waltham watch, No. 23486162 ; twentyfive ladies’ gold bangle watches, numbered respectively, 4082, 4077, 8729, 37617, 38491, 525141, 525130, 506605, 428221, 163532, 53771, 56862, 60518, 60577, 174230, 42434, 42340, 42332, 9012, 71465, 74878, 62490, 62489, 62485, and 56112all dials have “Stevenson, Adelaide,” or “Stevenson Bros., Limited, Adelaide, Swiss made,” thereon ; a number of miscellaneous styles of watches, gold and rolled gold, number and price scratched inside ; twenty-three 15 ct. and 9 ct. gold signet rings, 15 ct. rings stamped “Stevenson 15 ct.,” system number and price in plain figures scratched inside ; eighteen 15 ct. and 9 ct. gold medals, 15 ct. gold medals stamped “ Stevenson 15 ct.,” system number and price in plain figures scratched on back : total value, about £483 13s. If any of the stolen property is traced a communication is to be sent to the Commissioner of Police, Wellington. (C.R. 25/226.)
