Queen Street Wharf (Auckland). — ultimo, from a public telephone-box in Queen Street, the property of LULU MORRISON, Paeroa, a ladies’ Sunshine leather purse, containing £9 in money ; a cheque on the Bank of Australasia, Hamilton, in favour of complainant, signed “ A. P. Robson ” ; a small purse ; and a ladies’ white handkerchief, may have “ Lulu ” on it: total value, £ll. Identifiable except money.

Suspicion is attached to two women : (1) Johnston, age twenty, height 5 ft. 5 in., medium build, fresh complexion, fair, wavy bustercut hair, dressed in a navy-blue costume ; and (2) Fink, age twenty-one, height 5 ft. 4 in., slight build, pale complexion, dressed in a black dress and black-felt hat. *

He called at the post-office and asked for any registered mail for Walker. He was given a packet containing the above property, and forged the signature “W. Walker ” to the receipt.

Wellington. On or about the 11th ultimo, from 11 Mount Street, the property of O. H. MEAD, a canvas golf-bag with leather facings, containing the following clubs : A driver, a brassie, a mashie-iron, a mashie, a Spalding cleek, a Clements -iron, a Lock niblick, a putter, a pair of size 10 crepe-rubber-soled shoes, and two Dunlop “ Max-Fly ” golf-balls ; total value, £ll. Identifiable.
