Auckland. —sth May last, that a summons for failing to register a shot-gun may be served upon him, Alexander Campbell, age forty-five, height about 5 ft. 7 in., labourer and farmer, native of New Zealand, medium build, dark complexion, dark-brown hair, brown eyes ; dressed in a darktweed suit and soft-felt hat; never looks a/6erson in the face when conversing. <«t***± v/y^.

Auckland. — instant, on warrant for failing to comply with the terms of a maintenance order for the support of his wife, an inmate of Auckland Mental Hospital, Walter McQuoid, age forty-six, height 5 ft. 6 in., carter, native of New Zealand, medium build, fresh complexion, dark hair, blue eyes, long nose. Arrears to Ist ultimo, £54. (See Police Gazette, 1922, page 643.)

Waihi. —During February last, on warrant for being in possession of a firearm and ammunition except for some lawful and sufficient purpose, Allan Melton Brown, age thirty, height 5 ft. 8 in., labourer, native of New Zealand, slight build, sallow complexion, dark-brown hair, grey eyes, cleanshaved, sharp features, left eye defective ; usually dressed in a dark-serge suit and slate-coloured-felt hat.

Gisborne. 22nd May last, that a summons for being found on licensed premises during prohibited hours may be served upon him, Richmond Herbert Jones, age about thirtysix, height about 5 ft. 6 in. labourer and sawyer, medium build, ruddy complexion, reddish moustache. "Zy// 0/A- £

Bth instant, on warrant for failing to comply with the terms of a maintenance order for the support of his wife, Daisy Beach, Port Ahuriri, Leonard Beach, age forty, height 5 ft. 6£ in., labourer, native of New Zealand, strong build, fresh complexion, brown hair, hazel eyes ; scar on right temple, on upper lip, and on three left fingers ; scars on right shin and wrist; talkative, and fond of drink. Hastings. 3oth June last, on warrant for indecent exposure, Man (name unknown), age about twenty-five, height about 5 ft. 8 in., thin build, pale complexion, clean-shaved ; dressed in grey rough trousers and coat (no vest), grey cap, and cream shirt. He may be in possession of an old bicycle. About 9 a.m. on above date, in Marakakaho Road, accused indecently exposed himself within the view of Nola Black “ d tr.

Hastings. lßth June last, on warrant for indecent exposure, Man (name unknown), age about thirty, height sft. 11 in., slight build, fair complexion, thin features; wearing a light-grey coat and fight-felt hat. About 4.45 p.m. on above date, in Queen Street, accused indecently exposed himself within the view of Eileen Henderson, schoolgirl.

Hastings. sth instant, on warrant for failing to maintain his child, Oliver G. Sims, age about twenty-nine, height 5 ft. 6 in., advertising agent, native of New Zealand, medium build, dark complexion, dark-brown hair, blue eyes, cleanshaved ; usually dressed in a dark suit and felt hat; wears glasses. Taiiiape. sth instant, on warrant for forgery and uttering? Richard Edward Ellis, alias Victor William Edward Ellis. age thirty-six, height 5 ft. 4 in., labourer, native of New Zealand, slight build, fair complexion, light-brown hair, brown eyes, woman on right forearm, woman in tights and woman’s head on left forearm ; dressed in a grey suit and fawn soft-felt hat. Accused forged the signature “W. W. Williams ” to a cheque for £lO on the Union Bank of Australia, Hunterville, and uttered it to Percy Edward Wakeman, licensee, Em’s Hotel, in payment of £3 10s. for a week’s board, receiving £6 9s. 6d. change. Palmerston/North. —28th March last, on two warrants of commitment to Napier Prison for fourteen days and seven days in default of paying £4 2s. fines and costs (£2 10s. and £1 125.) for failing to attend drill and failing to notify his change of address, Maurice Nolan Ramsay, age nineteen, height 5 ft. 9 in., labourer, native of New Zealand, slight build, sandy complexion, fair hair; , usually dressed in a navy-blue suit and tan // /

Lower Hutt. —18th ultimo, on warrant of commitment to Wellington Prison for seven days in default of paying £2 10s. fine and costs for being found on licensed premises during prohibited hours, John Clinton Craig, age about thirty, height about 5 ft. 6 in., slight build, wavy dark hair, round face, sharp Roman nose, decayed front teeth ; usually dressed in a check suit and cap or felt hat.

Wellington. —23rd ultimo, on warrant of commitment to Wellington Prison for forty-eight hours in default of paying £2 os. 6d. fine and costs for travelling on the s.s. “ Maori without first paying his fare, James Brunton, age twentyseven, height 5 ft. 8 in., labourer, native of New Zealand, medium build, fresh complexion, brown hair, grey eyes, scar on right side of forehead, lame on right leg ; uses a walkingstick or crutch.

Greymouth. 3rd instant, on warrant for failing to provide for the maintenance of his unborn illegitimate child, Carl Jensen, age thirty, height 5 ft. 8 in., dairyman, native of Denmark, good build, fresh complexion, dark -brown hair; speaks fairly good English. He may be identical with Carl William Jensen referred to in Police Gazette, 1923, page 730. Complainant, Minnie Wildon Moore, Blackball. _

Dunedin. Frank Gorton, false pretences : It is now reported by the Dunedin police that the photograph of Henry J. Cutting in Victoria Police Gazette, 1921, page 31, has been identified as that of offender. .(See Police Gazette, 1925, page 433.)

Gore. — 4th April last, on warrant for failing to maintain his wife, Rose Ellen Byron, McNab, Charles Philip Byron, age thirty-five, height 5 ft. 9 in., labourer, native of New Zealand, stout build, dark complexion and hair, dark-brown eyes, clean-shaved ; dressed in a blue suit and black-felt hat; stooped.
