PROPERTY STOLEN.

Auckland. On the 14th or 15th February last a shed at Waiheke Island, the property of ALFRED RICHMOND PIPER, contractor, 45 France Street, was broken into and the following stolen therefrom : A brown-leather brief-bag ; a gentlemen’s grey velour hat, size 6£, shot silk lining and light-grey silk band, “ George Court on inside; a pair of gentlemen’s light black boots, size 7, “ A E. Marlow ” on tags ; a pair of boys’ black boots, size 4 ; a pair of white sand-shoes, size 7 ; and a wooden form about 5 ft. long : total value, £7 2s. Identifiable.

Auckland. —25th or 26th ultimo, from a motor-lorry in the yard of Winstoncs (Limited), the property of CYRIL WAGSTAFF, Cameron Street, a “ Critz ” motor greasepump ; a black-handled screwdriver; and a double-ended box spanner, one end broken : total value, £3 17s. Identifiable.

Auckland. —Between the Ist November and the 9th February last, from the dwelling of CATHERINE SHORT, at 106 Victoria Road, Devonport, a gold bracelet set with a ruby or garnet with a row of pearls on each side, and a gentlemen’s gold ring set with a pearl in claw setting ; total value, £57 10s.-. Pukekohe. —On the 10th instant the Patumahoe Hotel was broken into and the following stolen therefrom, the property of JAMES BATES, licensee : £39 10s. in notes and silver; four sovereigns jand six half-sovereigns (several Australian Mint); a grey-and-brown Scotch pebble bracelet with fine gold chain threaded through pebbles, “ J. Bates ” under clasp ; a gold dress ring set with three purple stones and pearls between each ; a silver-mounted greenstone tiki with “J. Bates ”on it; a gold “ Bamboo ” bracelet; a 9 ct. gold double-cable chain, with shield medal with “ W.J.8.” on it attached ; a gold heart ring ; two gold wedding-rings ; a gold earring set with a red stone; a ladies’ silver engraved small watch and a gold octagon-link chain : total value, £Bl. Identifiable except money.

On the 22nd ultimo, the dwelling of MARIAN ANNIE MARTIN, in East Street, was broken into, and the following stolen therefrom: Six doilies — diamond, wheel, and pineapple pattern ; a pair of scolloped pillowshams ; two pairs silk knickers; a white Ivoride oblong manicure set; an embroidered table-centre; and about 2 yards of cream Fuji silk and pointed lace : total value, £ll 12s. 6d. Identifiable.

Hamilton. On the 31st ultimo, the dwelling of ISMENE TISDALL, at 108 Lake Road, was broken into, and the following stolen therefrom : £3 10s. in notes ; 15s. in silver ; and a ladies’ silver open-face wristlet watch, with “ Ismane Mantell ” on back of case : total value, £9 ss. Watch only identifiable.

New Plymouth. Between the 27th February last and the 12th ultimo, from Currie Street, the property of NEWTON KING AND CO., land agents, a gentlemen’s black-enamelled free-wheel “ Earl ” bicycle, upturned handles with black grips, “ Dauntless ” tires ; value, £9. Identifiable.

New Plymouth. — llth ultimo, from a boardinghouse in Brougham Street, the property of ELANOR BRASH, a ladies’ gold open-face keyless watch, white dial with blue figures, engraved back with shield in centre ; value, £B. Identifiable.

—Between the 23rd and the 29th January last, from the Salvation Army Barracks, the property of DAISY LASKEY, a hornless oak “ Zonophone ” gramophone ; value, £7 10s. Identification doubtful.

Wanganui. 2nd ultimo, from the Metropolitan Hotel, the property of GEORGE EDWARD BURNETT, Ward’s Theatrical Company, a brown-fibre attache-case with two nickel clasps ; a gentlemen’s rainproof overcoat with brown check lining ; a pair of gentlemen’s shoes, “ Dorrie ” make ; a brown-and-white back clothes-brush; and a “ Valet ” Auto-strop safety-razor : total value, £2 10s. Identifiable.

Wanganui.— 22nd February last, from a boardinghouse in Wickstead Street, the property of ANNIE MUROA, Waitara, four £lO notes. Not identifiable.

Palmerston North. —On the 29th or 30th ultimo, from a shed at the dwelling of ERIC GORDON KINZETT, at 93 Broad Street, a gentlemen’s blaek-enamelled free-wheel 24-in. “ Red Seal ” B.S.A. bicycle, No. B 59198, upturned handles with black grips, “ Dunlop ” tires, cyclometer on front wheel, reflector on back mud-guard ; value, £ls. Havelock. ln May and December last and on the 26th ultimo the dwelling of MARY BEATRICE TAYLOR in Lawrence Street was broken into, and the following stolen therefrom : A bright-blue-georgette dress with beads on left shoulder and side, blue silk underneath; a cream-Fuji silk underskirt; two silk camisoles with lace around neck ; a rose-pink-satin kimona with blue birds on it; a linen supper-cloth with butterfly and French knots in comers; two linen tray-cloths with scolloped edges ; and two linen hemstitched pillow-shams with daisies on sides : total value, £23 Is. 6d. Christchurch. —3rd February last, from Lancaster Park, the property of DOUGLAS ALLAN BROWN, 395 Gloucester Street, a gentlemen’s black-enamelled “ Imperial Swift ” bicycle, No. 534852, upturned handles, Magnum tire on back wheel; value, £7. Identifiable.

Christchurch. — 18th February last, from Hereford Street the property of WILFRED GORDON WRIGHT, 2 Barrie Street, a gentlemen’s black-enamelled free-wheel “ Favourite ” bicycle, No. 12081, “ Michelin ” tires ; value, £8 10s. Identifiable.
