Kawakawa.— lst instant, on warrant of committment to Auckland Prison for seven days in default of £1 19s. line and costs for playing two-up, Arnold Sutton, age twentyfour, height 5 ft. 6 in., labourer, native of New Zealand, medium build, fresh complexion, fair hair, blue eyes ; usually dressed in a grey suit and felt hat; fond of drink. Auckland. 3rd ultimo, on warrant of commitment to Wellington Prison for one month in default of paying £6 ss. arrears due on a maintenance order for the support of his wife, Doreen Ross, 117 Wellington Street, Louis Douglas ROSS, alias Lewis Douglas Ross, age twenty-eight, height 5 ft. 4 in., labourer and steel worker, native of New Zealand, strong build, dark complexion, black curly hair, hazel eyes; usually dressed in a navy-blue or grey suit ; fond of races and billiards. Auckland. — On or about 27th ultimo, on warrant for theft of £2, the property of Charles Stevens Craig, tailor, Wakefield Street, George Reynold Oliver, age forty-two, height 5 ft. 10 in., tailor and furrier, native of New Zealand, medium build, fresh complexion, brown hair, hazel eyes, small scar behind left car; usually dressed in a dark suit and soft-felt hat; has a habit of raising his shoulders when walking. Accused who was employed by the complainant as a furrier collected £2 from James Edward Sutton on terms requiring him to account for the same to his employer which he failed to do. Hamilton. — Bernard Schdroski, alias RosKy, alias Thomas Fitzgerald, obscene language : It has been ascertained by the Wellington police that offender left Auckland for Australia by the s.s. “ Maheno ” on the 13th February, last. (See Police Gazette, 1925, page 192.)

Hamilton. —17th February last, on warrant of commitment to Auckland Prison for seven days in default of paying 18s. fine and costs for a breach of by-laws, Royal Desmond Clark, alias Capner, age twenty-six, height 5 ft. 6 in., seaman and amateur pugilist, native of Australia, medium build, fair complexion, light-brown hair, hazel eyes, scar on upper lip, woman’s bust and bird on right forearm. Hamilton. instant; than the Inspector of Police, Hamilton, may be notified of her address, as she is complainant in case Police v. Eustage (theft), Christine O’Flanagan, age about twenty-two, height about 5 ft., domestic, native of Ireland, fair complexion and hair, blue-grey eyes ; dressed in grey costume or cream knitted dress, grey shoes and stockings. Usually seeks employment through registry-offices.

Te Kuiti. November last, for failing to comply with the conditions of his release upon probation (Offenders Probation Act, 1920), Thomas William Francis, age nineteen, height 5 ft. 4-2 in., plumber and farm hand, native of New Zealand, medium build, dark complexion and hair, brown eyes, two moles on left forearm. New Plymouth. —22nd January last, on warrant of commitment to New Plymouth Prison for two days in default of paying 10s. costs for a breach of by-laws, Isaac Gordon, age thirty-eight, height 5 ft. 5 in., picture-frame maker, native of Russia, slight build, sallow complexion, light-brown hair turning grey and going bald, weak eyes, round shoulders ; usually dressed in a dark rough suit and felt hat. _

Hastings. —l7th and 24th January last, on two warrants for indecent exposure, Man (name unknown), age about twenty, height about 5 ft. 6 in., medium build, fresh complexion, dark hair, blue eyes, thin features ; dressed in darkblue suit, light-grey-felt hat with dark band on rim, and reddish-tan boots. On above dates accused, who was riding a bicycle along Hastings Street, wilfully exposed himself within thmjdew of Thelma Hackett, sdionlgid. _

Bth ultimo, on warrant for indecent exposure, Boy (name unknown), age about, fourteen, height about 5 ft. 4 in., medium build, dark complexion, dark curly hair, brown eyes ; dressed in dark-grey knickerbocker suit, black boots, and black stockings with white tops. On the above date, accused, who was riding a bicycle along Southland Road, wilfully exposed himself within the view of Dorothy Irene Spooner, schoolgirl.

Bth January last, on warrant of commitment to Wanganui Prison for three days in default of paying £2 10s. fine and costs for driving a motor-car in a dangerous manner, Charles Eric Pearson, age about thirty-five, height about 5 ft. 11 in., medium build. He frequents agricultural shows, where he demonstrates a patent motor-car wheel.

Wanganui.— 23rd ultimo, on warrant for failing to maintain his wife, Hilda Daisy Langslow, Alexander Harper Langslcw, age twenty-eight, height about 5 ft. 11 in., labourer and porter, native of Scotland, medium build, fresh complexion, dark hair, brown eyes ; dressed in a navy-blue or grey sports suit; walks quickly; smart appearance. Palmerston North. —27th December last, on warrant of commitment to Palmerston North Police-gaol for seven days in default of paying £2 11s. fine and costs for failing to pay railway fare, George Griffiths, alias Saville, alias Smith, age forty-seven, height 5 ft. 7 in., labourer, native of England, medium build, sallow complexion, brown hair, hazel eyes, large ears ; woman, coat-of-arms, flag, pansy, and clasped hands on right forearm ; left arm profusely tattooed ; Australian coat-of-arms and “ Advance Australia ” on chest.
