Queen Street Wharf (Auckland). —Ist September last, from the wharf, the property of JOHN VARIK, 39 Gladstone Road, a brown-leather suit-case, with “ C.L.S.” in gold on one side, containing a black-serge dinner-jacket, braid on trousers ; a white pleated shirt ; two pairs of pyjamas ; a Fuji tennis-shirt; a white-handled razor and shaving-outfit; two gold studs ; a gold ring, set with an opal in claw setting ; a white and a brown rubber belt ; a coloured dressing-gown ; and about a dozen collars : total value, about £ll 2s. Identifiable.

Auckland. —Between the 11th and 12thNovemberlast, from the Waitemata Hotel, the property of JAMES MoDONALD, farmer, Nihoniho, a gentlemen's silver open-face screw-case American watch, English figures ; a gold curb double watchchain ; a gold pendant, about the size of a half-crown, with “ 1893 Canterbury Agricultural and Pastoral Association to J. McDonald for Rosebury Champion Stallion ” on one side ; and a silver sovereign-case : total value, about £l2 10s. Identifiable.

Auckland.3lst December last, from a bedroom at the Aurora Hotel, the property of JOSEPH THOMPSON, labourer, a silver hunting Elgin watch, with “ J. Thompson ” on inside of case ; a 9 ct. gold Bernstein watch-chain ; and a petrified wood pendant : total value, £8 10s. Identifiable.

Auckland. — On the 31st December last the dwelling of JOSEPH OLIVE at 82 Nelson Street was broken into, and the following stolen therefrom : A ladies’ 9 ct. gold open-face watch (originally a hunting-watch) ; a gentlemen’s nickel open-face watch with luminous dial ; a 9 ct. gold fetter-and-three-oval double watch-chain, with a gold locket set with a ruby attached : total value, £7 ss. Kerepehi. — lst December last, from a cabin on the s.s “ Waipu,” the property of WILLIAM HERKT, dredgemaster, a leather handbag, containing a nickel open-face watch, with a watch-chain attached ; a nickel watch ; a sprocket; a dark-tweed overcoat; a bottle of iodine; a clock ; remnants of different-coloured cloth ; ladies shoes ; and other articles : total value, £ll 9s. 2d. Identifiable.

Palmerston North. — 10th ultimo, from the dwelling of EDWARD TAMPLIN, 157 Fitzherbert Street, a ladies’ gold keyless hunting-watch, with “ E.T.” on case ; a gold beadpattern neck-chain, with a gold oval pendant set with a garnet in centre surrounded by pearls ; als ct. gold band bangle, set with sapphires ; a gold gipsy ring, set with three diamonds (large one in centre); a striped marocain dress; a black marabout stole; a cream-gabardine and Fuji-silk dress ; a quantity of clothing, including nightdresses, dress-ing-jackets, shirts, gloves, shoes, &c. ; an ivory-mounted comb, brush, and mirror ; a black-morocco purse ; a halfsovereign ; and £2 : total value, £4B 18s.
