Between the 12th and 27th ultimo, from “ Stonehurst ” Boardinghouse in Symonds Street, the property of CLIFFORD SHERMAN READE, a japanned money-box with gilt lines ; a gold pencil-case with six sides and seal on end ; a leather sovereign-bag, containing five sovereigns ; a cross set with pearls ; a ring set with about five pearls ; a ring set with a double row of about eighteen pearls ; a large white sapphire pendant in a deep gold mount, with a safety-pin and chain attached ; a pendant, set with a large opal in a circle of rubies ; a butterfly brooch, set with a pearl and blue sapphires ; a gold band bracelet, set with twelve blue sapphires ; two half-hoop rings, each set with five rubies ; two half-hoop rings, each set with five sapphires ; a half-hoop ring, set with five corals ; a gold ring, set with a cluster of about nine diamonds ; and a gold longlink necklace, set with pink aquamarines : total value, £142. Te Aroha.— 7th instant, from Wight’s stables, the property of WILLIAM SHEEHY, farmer, Manawaru, a gentlemen’s three-quarter-length black heavy overcoat, slit in back, half cuffs (no lining), black bone buttons, darned below hanger; value, £5. Identifiable. Suspicion is attached to Dan Duncan, age about twenty-two, height oft. 10 in., farm hand, native of Canada, slight build, fresh complexion, darkbrown hair, brown small eyes, clean-shaved, left forefinger has been injured ; dressed in a brown-tweed split and brown soft-felt hat with a wide rim ; erect gait; American accent. He expressed his intention of leaving for America, and said his father was a large ranch-holder in Texas.

Hamilton. sth instant, from a room in the Commercial Hotel, the property of WILLIAM HENRY FAULKINDER, 11 Hillside Crescent, Auckland, a gentlemen’s fawn-cravcnctte overcoat, square pockets with flaps, “ W. H. Faulkinder ” written on inside of collar ; value, £6 10s. Identifiable.

Te — Between the 10th April and the 6th May last, from a hut at Kopaki, the property of WILLIAM ASTON, mill hand, a Gladstone bag, about 26 in. long ; value, £4. Identification doubtful.
