Auckland. MARIA BOTTLES and JOSEPH LANGTON’S property stolen : Robert James Brydon, alias Waldron, alias James Woodward, has been arrested for the offence by the Hamilton police. (See Police Gazette, 1924, pages 47 and 64, and Apprehensions, this issue.)

Auckland. 26th December last, from clothing in a dressing-shed at Milford Beach, the property of EDITH EASTWOOD, waitress, 35 Commercial Road, a ladies’ gold octagon-shaped expanding wristlet watch ; value, £6 10s. Identifiable.
Auckland. 2sth December, last, from behind the New Zealand . Insurance BuiLingi, ~ the property of DANIEL LEO CALLINAN, carrier, 6 Farrar Street, seventy-six oval three-ply oak trays, about 8 in. by 12 in. ; total value, £l9. Identifiable.
Auckland.— 2lst ultimo, from clothing in J. J. Craig’s store on the King’s Wharf, the property of FRANCIS HENRY BURKE, a gentlemen’s silveroid open-face keyless American Waltham watch, screw front, “ E. Foley, N.Z.E.,” on back of case; and a gold long-link double watch-chain, similar to illustration No. 20 in Police Gazette, 1911, page 2, with a Maltese cross medal with “ F. H. Burke ” and “ F.H.B.’ on it attached : total value, £7. Identifiable.
AuckIand. ELIZABETH AZE’S dwelling broken into : Some of the property has been recovered by the Auckland police, and Arthur Hamilton, alias Digby, alias Sidney Powell, who was suspected, has been interviewed, but no evidence resulted. (See Police Gazette, 1923, page 203.)
Auckland. —13th December last, from an office in the Farmers’ Union Trading Company’s premises, the property of WILLIAM HUEY, secretary, 17 Burwood Crescent, a gentlemen’s rolled-gold keyless Elgin watch, No. 9539101, dial cracked, thick glass, originally a hunting-watch • value, £3. Identifiable.
Auckland. —Between the 18th and 19th ultimo the dwelling of GEORGINA GUNN at 22 Ward Terrace was broken into, and the following articles stolen therefrom : A blacksuede purse, about 5 in. by 4 in., with oxidized silver clasps, containing a£s note, three £1 notes, and some silver; total value, about £8 13s. 6d. Purse only identifiable.
Auckland. — the 25th and 30th December last, from KATHLEEN HOWE’S bedroom at 1 Upper Vincent Street, a large-size mandoline, inlaid with coloured wood, three strings missing ; value, £6. Identification doubtful.
Hamilton. —Between the 26th and 28th ultimo, from the dwelling of SAMUEL HUMM, fitter, at 33 Norton Road, Frankton Junction, £65, consisting of eight or nine £5 notes and £1 notes.
Te Kuiti. —On or about the 20th ultimo, from a motorgarage in Awakino Road, the property of GEORGE YOULDWIN JACOB, clerk, a gentlemen’s black-enamelled 24 in. bicycle, reversible handles, Michelin tires ; value, £5. Identifiable.
Te Kuiti. — August last, from a hut at Oparure the property of JACK PIKO, labourer, a 22-calibre 1914 model Winchester repeating-rifle, No. 56 value, £2 10s. Identifiable. Suspicion is attached to Reginald Frank Koivu, who has been interviewed, but no evidence resulted. He has been charged with other offences. ' .
—Between the 24th and 26th November last, while in transit between Marton and Taihape, the property of BUTTERWORTIP BROS., merchants, Wellington and Dunedin, a navy-blue suit ; a quantity of gentlemen’s overcoats of various makes, trousers, socks, Shirley braces, and two pairs of white Bruce blankets: total value, £4O 9s. lid. Identification doubtful.
Feilding. —On or about the 16th August last, from the dwelling of WILLIAM JENSEN, farmer, Colyton, a Bible with “ To Margaret Fraser from Mr. and Mrs. Stevens, Peebles, Papakaio,” written inside ; a Gladstone bag ; a silver watch, with “ D.W. J.” scratched on inside of case; and a silver watch-chain, with a small gold medal attached : total value, £2 11s. Identifiable. Suspicion is attached to Alonza Albert Hewison, alias Hart, alias Robert Clifford Young, age twentyfour, height 5 ft. 5 in., labourer, native of New Zealand, medium build, florid complexion, brown hair,,blue eyes, mole on left cheek, scar on left forearm and thiunb and on each knee, two lower front teeth missing ; defective speech. He represented himself to be a missionary student, and was boarding with complainant when the articles were stolen, after which he disappeared. Between the 24th and 20th December last, from a yard in Thomas Burns Street, the property of ROBERT SYDNEY PASSMORE, engineer, a brief-bag, containing a clyburn spanner, a cold-chisel, a test lamp, a hammer, a wood-chisel, several centre punches, a King Dick spanner, two fixed spanners, and two pairs of pliers, “ R.S.P.” on most of them ; total value, £3. Identifiable.
Dunedin. —Between the 10th and the 15th December last the dwelling of HARRY LOGIE JAMES at North-east Harbour was broken into, and the following stolen therefrom : A 22-calibre single-shot Stevens Favourite rifle, No. 510 ; and a dark-grey soft-felt hat. with “ HU.J.” on inside : total value, £5 2s. 6d.
