APPREHENSIONS, PERSONS FOUND, ETC.

Maungaturoto. —-John Joseph Murray, failing to provide, has been arrested by the Spit police. (See Police Gazette, 1924, page 2.)

Whangarei.— A. Miller, forgery, has been arrested by the Gisborne police. His correct name is William Bradley. (See Police Gazette, 1922, pages 443, 459, and 651, and following paragraph's.)

Thames.— Ross, forgery and uttering, has been arrested by the Gisborne police. (See Police Gazette, 1920, pages 237 and 254 ; 1921, page 209 1923, page 2 and preceding and following paragraphs.)

Morrinsville. —J. Gordon, false pretences, has been arrested by the Gisborne police. (See Police Gazette, 1923, page 665, and preceding and following paragraphs.)

Taihape.— A. J. Clarke, alias James William Cameron, false pretences, has been arrested by the Gisborne police. (See Police Gazette, 1920, page 512, and preceding and following paragraphs.)

Palmerston North. — Wilson, false pretences, has been arrested by the Gisborne police. (See Police Gazette, 1922, page 256, and preceding and following paragraphs.)

Marterton. —W. Cole, alias Arthur Richards, alias Douglas, forgery and uttering, has been arrested by the Gisborne police. (See Police Gazette, 923, page 2, and preceding and following paragraphs.)

Wellington.— J. Cross, alias A. J. Simpson, false pretences, has been arrested by the Gisborne police. His correct name is William Bradley. (See Police Gazette, 1924, page 46, and preceding paragraphs.)

Auckland. Waldron, false pretences : Robert James Brydon, alias James Woodward, has been arrested for the offence by the Hamilton police. (See Police Gazette, 1924, page 45.)

Auckland.— Henry William Sturch, failing to maintain, has been located by the Pukehuia police. (See Police Gazette, 1923, page 347.)

Auckland.— Russell Rhodes, missing : No further action to be taken. (See Police Gazette, 1923, page 554.)

Auckland. Charles Lomas, failing to maintain, has been served with a summons by the Auckland police. (See Police Gazette, 1923, page 716.)

Cambridge. —Harry Hartley Aspin, failing to maintain, has been arrested by the Sydney (Australia) police and brought back to this Dominion. (See Police Gazette, 1922, page 359.)

Te Awamutu. — Henry James Godfrey Smith, alias Harry Smith, breach of probation, has been arrested by the Whangarei police. He had assumed the name Harry Williams. (See Police Gazette, 1924, page 63.)

Wanganui. —James Benton, alias Brunton, alias Brunting, alias Bunting, theft, has been arrested by the Tinui police. He had assumed the name James Benson. (See Police Gazette, 1923, page 348.)

Wanganui. — Albert Henry Nutbeen, alias Nutheen, failing to maintain, &c., has been arrested by the Wharf (Wellington) police. (See Police Gazette, 1924, pages 2 and 3.)

Palmerston North. Benjamin O’Connell, default, of fine and costs, has been arrested by the Christchurch police. (See Police Gazette, 1923, page 975.)

Wellington. Ernest Cooke, -desertion, has been arrested by the Wharf (Wellington) police. (See Police Gazette, 1924, page 46.)

Wellington.- — Nicholas Peters and Olive Mavis Peters, forgery, have been arrested by the Melbourne (Australia) police and brought back to this Dominion. (See Police Gazette, 1923, page 612.)

Christchurch. Man (name unknown), found dead, has been identified as Richard Rowland Davis, referred to in following paragraph. (See Police Gazette, 1923, page 691.)
