Houhora. —21st July last, on warrant for failing to maintain his wife, Clara Hibbert, Waihopo, William Henry Hibbert, age forty-five (looks younger), height about 5 ft. 8 in., labourer and gum-digger, native of Australia, medium build, dark complexion, brown hair, long nose, thin face, portion of right forefinger missing; dressed in a green-striped grey-serge suit. He is strange in his manner and says his wife is deceiving him. He is identical with William Henry Hibbits, referred to in Police Gazette, 1922, page 523.
