— + — Hobart (Tasmania). —A warrant has been issued for the arrest of Arthur Charles Pennifather-Elrick, alias Arthur Elrich, charged that between the 13th and 22nd December last at Hobart he committed buggery with Arthur George Liberty. Description : Age about thirty-eight, height about 5 ft. 6 in., tutor, medium build, dark sallow complexion, brown hair, sunken eyes, clean-shaved; usually dressed T in a navy-blue suit and black soft-felt hat. If located, 'an V urgent communication is to be sent to the Commissioner of Police, Wellington, in whose office a photograph of accused is filed. (P. 22/1577.)
Horwich (England). 2Bth September last. Inquiries are requested for James or John Morton, age about sixty-five, medium height, cotton-mill hand, native of England, where he left in 1878 or 1879. Inquiries are by Thomas Gallacher, 15 Autumn Street, Horwich, Lancashire. (P. 22/1571.)
Birkenhead (England). 2lst September last. Inquiries are requested for Stephen Crumby, ship’s cook, short strong build, fair complexion, curly grey hair going bald, sandy moustache, blue eyes, square chin, woman on one arm.
