INQUIRIES, ETC., FROM OUTSIDE NEW ZEALAND.
Ranelagh (Tasmania). —Bth April last, on warrant for deserting his wife, Mary Annie Carey, Torrington Wedd Carey, age about forty, height 5 ft. 9 in., carpenter and musician, native of South Australia, medium build, dark fresh complexion, thick dark hair (American cut), grey large eyes, scar on nose, mark on left eye; dressed in a grey sports suit; erect gait. He may be accompanied by Annie Dean, referred to in following paragraph. If located, the Commissioner of Police, Wellington, is toJbe informe immediately. Has i Stefans Ranelagh (Tasmania).— Bth April last. Inquiries are to be made for Annie Matilda Dean, who disappeared from her home at Glen Huon, age twenty-five, medium height, native of Tasmania, slight build, dark complexion and hair ; dressed in a navy costume and fawn hat trimmed with flowers to match, and is in possession of a dress-basket. She may be accompanied by Torrington Wedd Carey, referred to in preceding paragraph. If located, the Commissioner of Police, Wellington, is to be informed immediately.
