PERSONS WANTED.

Newton. 23rd ultimo, on warrant for false pretences, Arnold George Lynne, age twenty-six, height 5 ft. 9 in., seaman and clerk, native of New Zealand, medium build, fair complexion, light-brown hair, grey eyes, scar on right cheek ; lifebelt on left forearm ; anchor, heart, and “ Forget me not ” on right forearm birth-mark on left side ; dressed in a blueserge suit, trench-coat, and brown-felt hat. Accused obtained £lO from John Michael Rutledge, linotypist, 185 Symonds Street, by falsely representing that a house which he let to complainant and for which he received rent in advance was his property. Kaponga. lsth ultimo, for failing to comply with the conditions of his release upon probation, Bernard Patrick Malone, age forty-one, height 6 ft., labourer, native of Australia, medium build, fresh complexion, dark-brown hair, blue eyes, left hand amputated; keeps left arm in coat pockgt; fondjof drink. Napier. 4th April last, on warrant for failing to maintain his illegitimate child, of whom Olive Martin, 6 McVay Street, is the mother, Henry George Short, age thirty-four, height about 5 ft. 8 in., bushman, native of New Zealand, medium build, fresh complexion, fair hair, dark-grey eyes ; usually dressed in a navy-blue suit, tan boots, and soft-felt black hat ; good features ; pleasant appearance. He may assume the name Moray.

Wanganui.— lßth ultimo, on warrant for failing to provide for the future maintenance of his unborn illegitimate child, David Ferguson, age about twenty-seven, height 5 ft. 10 in., fireman, native of New Zealand, medium build, fair complexion, light-brown hair, hazel eyes. Complainant, Winifred McGonagle, domestic. His photograph, is filed in/ the Inspector’s office, Wanganui. j/^
