Hobsonville. Between the 9th and 16th instant WILLIAM HAGAN’S dwelling at Brigham’s Creek was broken into, and the following articles stolen therefrom : A greytweed suit, made by Taylor, Lome Street, Auckland; a gold long heavy neck-chain; a gold pendant, containing a photograph ; a gum heart;. an elephant pendant with a gold band on it; a gold crown pendant ; two gold brooches without pins ; a brooch set with a spray of violets ; two silver butterknives with pearl handles ; three silver jam-spoons ; and a red-satin case, containing six silver teaspoons ; a butter-knife with a silver handle, and a silver jam-spoon : total value, £lB. On the Ist ultimo JOHN McLEOD’S dwelling at 11 Goring Road was broken into, and the following articles and money stolen therefrom : A gold pendant, set with pearls, containing a photograph, with a gold small chain attached ; a silver “ All Chums ” clasped-hands brooch ; a Bank of New Zealand 10s. note ; and 10s. in silver : total value, £4 17s. 6d. On the 14th ultimo FREDERICK BLOTT’S dwelling at 45 Monte Le Grand Road was broken into, and the following articles and money stolen therefrom: A 9 ct. gold engraved bamboo bangle ; a 9 ct. gold bangle, with a raised plate on top set with three sapphires and two diamonds ; a black-leather small purse with folding top, containing 15s. : total value, £l6.
