SPECIAL INQUIRY.
Hikurangi.—- On the 20th March last George McConnell, farmer, Riponui, found three of his horses severely injured, the jaws of one having been broken, necessitating its destruction, and another so badly maimed that it died during the day. Any information regarding the offence is to be communicated to the Inspector of Police, Whangarei.
