SPECIAL NOTICE.
From information furnished by the New South Wales police it is believed that Mervyn George Swannie, alias Mervin George Swaney, alias Mervin G. Bowen, alias Clayton, an Australian criminal, is at present in New Zealand. He has been convicted in Canada and New South Wales on charges of stealing, false pretences, robbery under arms, and impersonating the police. Description : About thirty-one years of age, height 5 ft. 10 in., medium build, dark hair and complexion, dark eyes, good address ; speaks with American accent. Finger-prints and photo filed in C.R. Branch, Wellington. (C.R. 20/273.)
