Queen Street Wharf (Auckland). —27th June last, from the s.s. “Waimarei,” the property of MRS. MELLSOP, Postmistress, Turua, a brown-canvas suit-case with leather corners, about 2 ft. by 1 ft., containing a silk blouse, a lace blouse, a nightdress, two camisoles, a brush and comb, a pair of rimless eye-glasses, six books (entitled “Dark Star,” “Down among Men,” and “Lamp in Dark,” one with “W.M.” on inside of cover), and a quantity of underclothing ; total value, £l3 10s. Rotorua. — On or about the 13th instant, from the person of TOM CLIFFORD STRANGE, 98 Crummer Road, Auckland, while under the influence of liquor in a whare at Ohinemutu, a 9ct. gold-cased watch; a 9ct. gold long-link and three small links double watch-chain; a gold quartz oval pendant; a rolled-gold sovereign-case ; a black-morocco-leather pocket-wallet, containing a check-luggage ticket for a bicycle from Auckland to Rotorua, six £1 notes, £1 ss. in silver, receipts from Gribble and Co., importers, Auckland, and other papers: total value, about £3B 15s. Gisborne. —Between the 14th July last and 23rd ultimo, while in transit between Wanganui and Gisborne, per s.s. “ Tiroa,” from Napier, the property of LUCY GREENLEES, Kingsley Road, Whataupoko, two square tablecloths ; three double bed-sheets; a ladies’ light-fawn trench-coat with belt, “ L. Davis ” under left sleeve and “ Guaranteed rubberless ” inside of oollar : total value, £lO 14s. Identifiable.

Taumarunui. —lßth ultimo, from the Taringamotu Hall, a cream Indian cashmere scarf, about 4 ft. square, with a fringe around it, value £7, identifiable, the property of MARY HITCHENS, school-teacher; and a pair of ladies’ tan court-shoes, size 4, value £1 155., identifiable, the property of KATE HUNDERSTONE, school-teacher.

Pahiatua.— On or about the 4th April last, from HUGH NELSON’S shed, a gentlemen’s black-enamelled free-wheel bicycle, rusty handles with black grips, rat-trap pedals, handbrake on each wheel, red tire on back wheel, mud-guards attached ; value, £6. Identifiable.

Wellington.— Between the Ist ultimo and 12th instant, from SARAH JOHNSON’S bedroom at 26 Roxburgh Street, a ladies’ gold English lever watch, with “ Presented to Mrs. Wood by her husband, 1866,” on inside of case ; and a gold granny heavy chain, about 4 ft. long : total value, £27. Identifiable.

Wellington. —On or about the 16th instant, from a motor-car, the property of ALBERT WILLIAM FENNELL, traveller, 246 a Wellington Terrace, a brown-leather case, about 14 in. by Sin. by in., pin of lock protruding, with oil-stains on one side, containing a typewritten loose-leaf book with zinc covering on one side and red oilcloth on the other, with “Stewart and Co.” on pages; and two books, with “ Where is it,” on them: total value, £l2. Identifiable.

Wellington. — On or about the 27th May last, from a dressing-table at 38 Hawkestone Street, the property of MARY ELLEN RIDDELL, Victoria Avenue, Dannevirke, a gold round brooch, about the size of a half-crown, set with

a large ruby in centre, with a pin, set with a pearl, through it; a white paste brooch, set in silver; a safety-pin brooch, set with a diamond in centre surrounded by small pearls; a gold fine chain knot necklet, with a large and two small pendants set with white sapphires attached ; a gold knot neck chain, with a pendant set with a pearl and a pendant set with an aquamarine attached ; total value £4O. Identifiable. The dressing-case with other furniture was sold by auction before the described articles were missed.

Wellington. —l3th ultimo, from the Zealandia Private Hotel, the property of ALFRED BOWIE, a gentlemen’s light-brown double-breasted overcoat, with brown lining, “Duncan and Mclntosh” on tag, belt on back; value, £6. Identifiable.
