SPECIAL INQUIRY.

A permit, No. 1299, was issued to Miss Beatrice Morshead on the 9th instant to enable her to proceed to England by the s.s. “Athenic,” which was to leave Wellington on the 16th instant. She lost the permit, and a duplicate was issued. Should any information regarding the original permit be obtained a communication is to be forwarded to the Commissioner of Police, Wellington.
