Auckland. —26th March last, on warrant of commitment to Auckland Prison, for twenty-four hours in default of paying 10s, fine and costs for mischief, David Mclvor, age thirty-three, height 5 ft. 6 in., labourer, native of Ireland, medium build, fresh complexion, brown hair, hazel eyes. Auckland. —2Bth September last, that he may be compelled to comply with the terms of a maintenance order for the support ot his two sons, inmates of the Nelson Industrial School, Edmund or Edward William Robinson, age forty-seven, height 5 ft. 3 in., labourer and seaman, native of New Zealand, fresh complexion, grey hair, blue eyes, anchor between right thumb and finger, star between left forefinger and thumb. Morrinsville. —l2th October last, on warrant for theft of £3 3s. the property of Robert Casey, butcher, Waharoa, R F. Caundle, age twenty-four, height 5 ft. 6 in., butcher, native of New Zealand, fresh complexion, fair hair, clean-shaved, right middle and ring fingers missing ; usually dressed in a dark suit and light soft-felt hat; good-looking ; may be accompanied by his wife and child. Accused was employed by complainant driving a cart when he received the amount from Johu Hayward, farmer, Waharoa, on terms requiring him to account for the same to his employer, which he failed to do.

Cambridge. —2nd ultimo, on warrant for failing to maintain his wife and child, Henry James Harrison, age fifty-seven, height about 5 ft. 10 in., labourer, native of new Zealand, medium build, fair complexion, curly grey hair, artificial upper teeth; slightly stooped; wears spectacles. Complainant, Alice Elizabeth Harrison, Te Miro.

Palmerston North. —l6th ultimo, on three warrants of commitment to Wellington Prison for seven days on each in default of paying (1) £1 75., (2) £1 7a., and (3) £2 7s. fines and costs for breaches of his prohibition order, Alfred or Arthur Bade, alias Alfred Baide, age forty-four, height 5 ft. 7£in., labourer, native of New Zealand, medium build, dark complexion, dark-brown hair, brown eyes, scar at base of left thumb. Carterton. —l3th July last, on warrant for abandoning a male child twenty-one days old, Annie Smith, age eighteen, height 5 ft. 5 in., domestic, stout build, fresh complexion, dark hair, brown eyes; dressed in a silk blouse, brown-tweed skirt, dark waterproof coat, and sailor hat; good appearance. Accused lived with Mrs. Grengor at Carterton from 28th June to 13th Juiy last, when she went away leaving the child behind.

Wellington.— 2nd ultimo, that a summons for failing to comply with the terms of a maintenance order for the support of his three children in Wellington Receiving Home may be served upon him, Frederick Blacklidge, age twenty-four, Height 5 ft. in., labourer, native of England, medium build, dark complexion, curly-dark bair, brown eyes; profusely tattooed on body. Wellington.—3lst ultimo, on warrant for landing in New Zealand, he being a prohibited immigrant, E. Photinaki, age thirty, height 5 ft. 10 in., native of Greece, sallow complexion, prominent cheek-bones, long face, features; usually dressed in a brown suit.

Wellington. —2oth ultimo, on warrant of commitment to military custody for seven da> s in default of paying £1 10s. fine and costs for failing to attend drill, Arthur Symons, age nineteen, height 5 ft. 4 in., labourer, slight build, light-brown hair, sharp features ; fond of drink. He may be identical with man of same name, referred to in Police- Gazette, 1915, page 476.

Timaru. —loth instant, on warrant for failing to maintain his wife, George Keen, age thirty-seven, height 6 ft., piano-tuner, native of England, strong build, fresh complexion, brown hair, grey eyes, scar on forehead ; usually dressed in a dark-grey or blue-serge suit. Complainant, Annie Charlotte Keen, Sophia Street.

Port Chalmers. —l4th instant, on warrant for deserting from the s.s. “ Kowhai,” Richard Morgan, age eighteen, height 5 ft. 7 in., seaman, native of Australia, medium build, fair hair and complexion, blue eyes, cleanshaved ; dressed in a blue suit and black-felt hat, and wears an overcoat. A reward of £1 is offered for his arrest.

Port Chalmers. —14th instant, on warrant for deserting from the s.s. “ Kowhai,” James B. Sherwood, age twenty, height 5 ft. 7 in., seaman, native of Scotland, medium build, dark hair and complexion, clean-shaved ; dressed in a blue suit and black-felt hat. A reward of £1 is offered for his arrest.

Dunedin. —9th instant, on warrant for failing to provide for the future maintenance of his unborn illegitimate child, William Thomas Probert, age thirty-five, height 5 ft. 7in., dental mechanic, native of New Zealand, strong build, ruddy complexion, fair hair turning grey, blue eyes, clean-shaved; usually dressed in a light-grey cheek suit and grey soft-f6lt hat. His photograph is filed in the Superintendent’s Office. Complainant, Martha Jane Parker Smith, Trocadero Hotel, Wellington.
