MISCELLANEOUS INFORMATION.

Circular No. 3/18.]

Uniform Clothing

With reference to Circular No. 13/17 ( Police Gazette , 1917, pages 644-5), in future pantaloons are to be strapped with Bedford Cord, of which they are made, instead of buckskin. To provide sufficient material for this to be done, requisitions must be submitted by mounted members of the Force for 1§ yards of Bedford Cord, instead of yards as formerly. J. O’Donovan, Commissioner of Police.

Wellington, 10th May, 1918 (P. 18/851.)

Erratum.

In Police Gazette, 1917, page 393, a conviction for theft is recorded against Joseph Kirby. Information now supplied by the Auckland police shows that the charge referred to was dismissed. All copies of the Police Gazette are to be amended accordingly.
