Joseph Benjamin Allen, failing to parade for medical examination: It has been ascertained by the Wellington police that accused obtained a permit under the name Josiah Benjamin Allen, and left this Dominion on the 13th June, 1916, by the s.s. “ Niagara ” for Suva. (See Police Gazette, 1918, page 9.)

Wellington. —3lst ultimo, that he may be located and requested to produce a certificate of discharge from the Expeditionary Force, Philip Dacon Leonard Scown, age twenty-six, height 5 ft. 10 in., farmer, medium build, ruddy complexion, brown hair, grey eyes, flat-footed. If he cannot produce a certificate of discharge from the Rifle Brigade he may be arrested and handed to nearest military authority.

Greymouth. —l4th November last, on military warrant for deserting from the 32nd Reinforcement, William John Trouland, age twenty-one, height about sft. 6 in., flax-grader, native of New Zealand, ruduy complexion, lightbrown hair, blue eyes, two scars on left forearm, scar on outside of right knee and on right foot. Last employed by Messrs. Griffiths Bros. (Limited), Blenheim.

Ahaura. — Anton Albert Anderson, failing to parade for medical examination. It has been ascertained by the Greymouth police that accused left this Dominion on the 11th November, 1915, by the s.s. “ Moana ” for America. (See Police Gazette, 1917, page, 626.)

Hokitika.— James McMullan, deserting from Expeditionary Force : It has been ascertained by the Greymouth police that accused’s oorrect age is twenty-eight years. (See Police Gazette, 1917, page 728.)

Half-moon Bay. —l6th November last, on military warrant for deserting from the 31st Reinforcement, James McColgan, age twenty-seven, height 5 ft. in., enginedriver, dark complexion, black hair, blue eyes. His brother, J. MoColgan, is a farmer at Niagara, Southland.
