SPECIAL NOTICE.

Christchurch.— During the second week in November last five forged £1 notes were uttered to Frederick Barlow, tobacconist, Colombo Street, two were on the National Bank of New Zealand, numbered A 124670, and three were on the Bank of Australasia, numbered P 32018. They were photographic copies, the colouring being done with water-colours. Any information regarding the offender is to be communicated to the Superintendent of Police, Christchurch.
