Lincoln.—6th ultimo, from Burnham Industrial School, James Arnold Amundsen, age eighteen, height 5 ft. 7 in., labourer, native of New Zealand, medium build, fair complexion, ligbt-brown hair, blue eyes, sharp slightly-turned-up nose, large ears; well dressed in a dark-green sac suit, black soft-felt hat, and black lace-up boots. Clothing should be numbered “188.” (See Police Gazette, 1917, pages 52 and 58.)
Lincoln. 6th ultimo, from Burnham Industrial School, James Winter, age eighteen, height 5 ft. 7 in., labourer, aboriginal, good build, copper complexion, black hair, brown eyes, saffron-coloured teeth, pigeon-toed, scar on left side of chin and on right side of abdomen ; well dressed in a greytweed sac suit, light-grey-tweed cap, and black lace-up boots ; smart intelligent appearance. Clothing should be numbered “149.”
Lincoln. —7th ultimo, from Burnham Industrial School, Montague Henry Yates, age eighteen, height 5 ft. 7 in., labourer, native of New Zealand, good build, freckled complexion, red hair, grey eyes, scar on left side of head and inside left foot, freckled arms ; well dressed in a dark-grey-tweed sao suit, white straw hat, and black lace-up boots; very cunning and plausible. Clothing should be numbered “ 148.” He has a full suit of Senior Cadet’s (sergeant’s) uniform with white and blue stars on right sleeve with him. (See Police Gazette, 1917, page 68.)
Lincoln. —13th ultimo, from Burnham Industrial School, Charles Edward Johns, age seventeen, height 5 ft. 7 in., labourer, native of New Zealand, good build, fair freckled complexion, brown hair, blue eyes, scar on right calf; well dressed in a brown-tweed sport’s suit (no vest), dark-grey-tweed cap, and black lace-up boots; pleasant appearance. Clothing should be numbered “ 68.”
Lincoln. — 13th ultimo, from Burnham Industrial School, Frederick Theodore Poulton, age eighteen, height 5 ft. 9 in., labourer, native of New Zealand, medium build, sallow complexion, bluish-grey eyes, aquiline nose, wrinkled forehead, scar on left temple, moles on face ; dressed in a light-green-tweed sac suit with black stripes, green cap, and black lace-up boots. Clothing should be numbered “ 130.” (See Police Gazette, 1916, page 835, and photographs, 1917, page 8.)
Lincoln. —Bth instant, from Burnham Industrial School, Frederick Albert Robertson, age eighteen, height sft. 6 in., labourer, aboriginal, good build, copper complexion, black hair inclined to curl, dark-brown eyes, flat nose, prominent ears; dressed in a brown-tweed coat, brownmoleskin trousers, dark-tweed vest and cap, and black laceup boots ; rolling slouching gait. Clothing should be numbered “ 174.”
