DESERTERS FROM HIS MAJESTY’S SERVICE.
From the New Zealand Expeditionary Force. Papakura.—Bth March last, on military warrant for failing to parade for medical examination, Edward G. H. E. Peat, age twenty-two, height sft. 10 in., farm labourer, native of New Zealand, thin build, fair complexion, dark-brown hair, blue-grey eyes, clean-shaved, prominent nose, round face, slightly pigeon-toed ; slovenly gait; looks down when speaking; usually dressed in a light suit and soft-felt hat. If arrested, he is to be handed to the military authorities.
Wellington. Bth March last, on military warrant for failing to parade for medical examination, Alexander Waine Fester, age twenty-nine, height 5 ft. 8 in., labourer, native of Australia, medium build, fresh complexion, brown hair and eyes. If arrested, he is to be banded to the military authorities.
Wellington..— 9th January last, on military warrant for failing to proceed to camp, Frederick George Walker, age about twenty-eight, height 5 ft. 6 in., hotel porter, native of England, medium build, dark complexion, brown hair, blue eyes. If arrested, he is to be handed to the military authorities.
Wellington. - 21st December last, on military warrant for failing to parade for medical examination, Frederick Victor Westbrook, age twenty-five, height about 5 ft. 9 in., farm labourer, native of New Zealand, medium build, dark hair and complexion, grey eyes ; usually dressed in a dark suit and brown-felt hat. If arrested, he is to be handed to the military authorities.
Taranaki Street (Wellington). —sth March last, on military warrant for failing to proceed to camp, William Irwin Black, age thirty-five, height 5 ft. 7Jin., draper and spieler, native of New Zealand, fair complexion, brown hair, blue eyes, Roman nose, mole on back, four moles on right cheek. If arrested, he is to be handed to the military authorities. (See Police Gazette, 1915, page 167, and Photographs, 1910, page 51.)
Kumara.— l2th ultimo, on military warrant for failing to proceed to camp, Fatrick Skinnon, age thirty-six, height 5 ft. 6Jin., gold-miner, native of New Zealand, medium build, fair hair and complexion, blue eyes, cleanshaved ; usually dressed in a dark suit and black hard-felt hat. If arrested, he is to be handed to the military authorities.
Dunedin.—l7th ultimo, on military warrant for failing to parade for medical examination, Patrick Kelly, age thirty-five, height 6 ft. (No further description available.) If arrested, he is to be handed to the military authorise .
