■ ORART- January last, that he may be located and mduced to maintain his illegitimate child", Jean Franklin, Frank Bassett, age about thirty, height about 5 fc. 7in labourer, native of New Zealand, thin build, dark .complexion, dark-brown hair. He is identical with Frank Bassett, referred to in New Zealand Police Gazette, 1916, page 692. Should any information be obtained regarding him, a communication to be sent to the Commissioner of Police, Wellington. (P. 17/151.)
Sydney (New South Wales). —6th January last, that he may be located and induced to pay £7 6s. 2d (amount due) for the maintenance of his wife, an inmate of a mental hospital, Norman McCullen, alias Frost, age about thirty-seven, height about 5 ft. 6Jin., cook, native of New Zealand, sallow complexion, black hair, brown eyes. He is believed to be identical with Norman McCullen, alias Frost, referred to in New Zealand Police Gazette , 1907, page 427. (P. 17/100.)
Melbourne. — 22nd December last, on warrant for maliciously setting fire to a dwellinghouse, several persons being therein, Timothy Whelan, age thirty-six, height sft. 10in., hotelkeeper, stout build, fair complexion, dark hair, clean-shaved ; usually dressed in a grey suit and brownfelt hat. He arrived in Wellington by the s.s. “ Mamuka ” from Sydney on 15th January last. (Arrest and extradition desired.) If any information is obtained regarding this man, an urgent communication is to be sent to the Commissioner of Police, Wellington. (P. 17/258.)
