Waitara. — A. HATRICK AND CO.’S premises broken into : Didrik Wohlert has been arrested for this offence by the New Plymouth police. (See Police Gazette, 1916, page 887.)
Carlyle Street (Napier).— ANDREW JOHN ANDERSON’S bicycle has been found: not stolen. (See Police Gazette, 1916, page 842.)
Christchurch. — VERNON CLEMENTS’S bicycle has been recovered by the Christchurch police, and F. Piper, who sold it to a dealer, is suspected of having stolen it. Description: Age nineteen, height 5 ft. 6 in., slight build, fair hair, clean-shaved, thin face ; dressed in a grey-serge suit and light fawn overcoat. (See Police Gazette, 1917, page 5.)
Ashburton. MICHAEL McAVEY’S bicycle has been found : not stolen. (See Police Gazette, 1916, page 827.)
Lumsden. MINNIE GALLOWAY and DAISY TAYLOR’S rings have been found : not stolen. (See Police Gazette , 1917, page 32.)
