SPECIAL INQUIRY.
Gisborne. —Body of unknown man found in the Tauranganui River: The following further description of the body has been supplied by the Gisborne police : Age about sixty-five, height about 5 ft. 6 in., labourer, stout build, sandy hair and beard tinged with grey, blue eyes, short nose, full face ; dressed in grey-tweed waistcoat and trousers, blue-serge coat, blue linen shirt, merino underpants, strong heavy nailed boots, and dark-tweed overcoat. (See Police Gazette , 1916, page 769.) (C.R. 16/15.) This is in lieu of the paragraph appearing on page 29 of this Gazette, where the reference given is incorrect.
