Petone. —Since the 17th ultimo, Annie Arnold, age eighteen, height sft., machinist, native of New Zealand, slight build, freckled face, brown hair and eyes ; dressed in a dark-blue costume, or white-voile dress, black-straw hat, trimmed with red band and red berries at side, and black shoes. She may be in company with Arthur Frederick Wilton, age eighteen, height 5 ft. 7in., medium build, fresh complexion, fair hair, blue eyes. He is said to be a deserter from Featherston Camp. Inquiry by her father, Henry Arnold, Nelson Street.
Mount Cook (Wellington). Since the 10th ultimo, Emily Peters, age seventeen, height about 5 ft. 2in., domestic, native of New Zealand, stout build, sores on face ; dressed in a khaki dress and blue hat; good looking. Inquiry by her father, George Peters, 137 Tory Street.
Christchurch. —Since the 6th instant, Bertha Louisa Tullett, age eighteen, height sft. ljin., factory hand, native of New Zealand, medium build, dark complexion, brown hair, grey eyes ; dressed in a light dress, brown overcoat, and straw hat with pink-and-bla,ck ribbon. She is pregnant to George Duncan Clark (in whose company she may be), age twenty-one, height about 5 ft. Bin., dark hair and eyes. Inquiry by her father, Ernest Albert Tullett, 14 Isis Street, Woolston.
Darfield. —Since about the Ist February last, Joshua Hannant, age thirty-five, height 5 ft. 4 in., farm labourer, native of New Zealand, fair complexion, light-brown hair, blue eyes, fair moustache, flat feet, two left fingers have been injured; loud voice (speaks as if tongue-tied). He is simpleminded, and fears are entertained for his safety. Inquiry by his brother, Paul Hannant, farmer.
