Dargaville.— John Clifford, default of fine and oosts, has paid the amount due to the Dargaville police. (See Police Gazette, 1916, page 661.)

Whangabei.— Herbert Hartley, default of fine, has been arrested by the Mount Eden police. (See Police Gazette, 1916, page 691.)

Auckland. --William Ferguson, alias Toff, alias Davidson, default of costs, has paid the amount due to the Auckland police. (See Police Gazette, 1916, page 131.)

Waihi.-- Sarah Jane Chaloner, missing, has been found dead. (See Police Gazette, 1916, page 741.)

Hamilton. —George Kinnaird, alias Conn, alias Collins, false pretences, has been arrested by the Te Karaka police. (See Police Gazette, 1916, page 619.)

Steatford.— George Sharrock, missing, has been located by the Greymouth police. (See Police Gazette, 1916, page 664.)

Pahiatua. — Michael Gray Higgins, default of fine and costs, has been arrested by the Wellington police. He had assumed the name George Harris. (See Police Gazette, 1914, page 290.)

Palmerston North. — John Cole missing, has been found dead. (See Police Gazette, 1898, page 99.)

Johnsonville. Frederick West, escaping from Porirua Mental Hospital, has been arrested by the Featherston police. (See Police Gazette, 1916, page 568.)

Wellington.— Joseph Nidd, theft, has been arrested by the Carterton police. (See Police Gazette, 1916, page 662.)

Wellington.— Hori Robertson, alias Robson, alias Thomas, theft, has been arrested by the Palmerston North police. (See Police Gazette, 1916, page 662.)
