Sydney (New South Wales).— The above is a photograph of Norman Astor, alias Pascoe Lambert, alias Norman Pascoe, who is wanted on warrant by the Sydney police for having forged and uttered Commonwealth £5 bank-notes. (See Police Gazette , 1916, pages 643 and 694.) (C.R. 16/293.)
London (England). —Bth Mav last. Inquiry is requested for Elizabeth Martin, nee Elizabeth or Betty Ashford, who was married to Wilfred Martin at Brisbane (Australia) in July, 1915, and was last heard of at Wellington two months later, when she was staying with her husband at the Trocadero Hotel. She is described as thirtysix years of age, below medium height, native of England, stout build, fair complexion. Inquiry by Robert Ashford, 26 Anson Road,Tufnell Park, London N. " If located, a communication is to be sent to the Commissioner of Police, Wellington. (P. 16/1032.)
Dublin (Ireland). —12th February last. Inquiry is requested for Thomas Francis Haughey, alias Patrick Hoey, age thirty-four, height 5 ft. 8 in., cook and shop-assistant, native of Ireland, slight build, brown hair, blue-grey eyes, clean-shaved, burn-mark on back. He was last heard of at Fairlie in April last. Inquiry by Mary Haughey, 3 Temple Street, Dublin. If located, a communication is to be sent to the Commissioner of Police, Wellington. (P. 16/577.)
