Inquiry is requested with a view to finding the owner of a motor-bicycle, registered No. P.N. 262, engine No. 288, driving-chain missing, value about £3O, which was left at the Railway Hotel, Otaki, about the end of January last, by a Man who took the train for Wellington. His description is as follows: Age about twenty-five, height about 5 ft. 6 in., medium build, fresh complexion, round full flushed face ; dressed in a brown suit and cap. If any information be obtained regarding the ownership of the motor-bicycle or the man who left it at the hotel, a communication is to be sent to the Superintendent of Police, Wellington.
