MISCELLANEOUS INFORMATION.
Issue of Collectors' Permits tinder Mar Funds Act, 1915. The following persons have been authorized by the Hon. Minister of Internal Affairs, in terms of section 22, subsection 2 ( d ), of the War Funds Act, 1915, to sign collectors’ permits : Chairman, Town Board, Helensvilie. Chairman, Town Board, Raglan. L. Fisher, Esq . Manunui. E. W. Porritt, Esq., Paeroa. T. B. Williams, Esq., Wanganui. A. S. Gascoigne, Esq., Mangaweka. J. Walker, Esq., Bull’s. G. Stephenson, Esq., Shannon. Chairman, Town Board, Otaki. W. H. Field, Esq., Waikanae. W. J. Howell, Esq , Paraparaumu. J. W. Kinniburgh, Esq., War Funds Office, Wellington. Rev. J. R. Clark, Woodend, Canterbury. P. Chisholm, Esq., Outram. A. W. Rodger, Esq., Invercargill. H. W. Royds, Esq., Invercargill. The form of permit used by the Southland Patriotic Society and signed by either Mr. Rodger or Mr. Royds differs from the prescribed form, but has been approved by the Minister under the proviso of clause 29 of the regulations under the War Funds Act. Motor Regulation Act, 19(1$
The distinguishing letters and numerals assigned to the Wanganui Borough Council under the Motor Regulation Act, 1908, have been extended from “ W.G.” 1 to 1000 ” to W.G. 1 to 1500”; and those of the Rangitikei County Council have been extended from “ R. 1 to 500” to “ R. 1 to 1000. The list published in Police Gazette, 1916, page 475, is to be amended accordingly. (P. 16/969 )
