PERSONS WANTED.

Auckland.— 2Bth ultimo, on warrant for failing to maintain his wife, Charles Jordan, alias Aftfatson, alias Osyden, alias Richard John Percival, age thirty-three, height sfc. B£in., boot-manufacturer, native of Australia, medium build, fresh complexion, dark-brown hair, brown eyes, scar on right middle finger. Complainant, Margaret Jordan, Eden Terraoe. Auckland. —2nd ultimo, that a copy cf a minute of order may be served upon him, Antonio Cortessi, age fortyfive, height sft. 6in., cook, native of Switzerland or Greece, medium build, dark sallow complexion, black hair, brown eyes, scar on top of head. (See Police Gazette, 1916, page 430.)

Auckland. —2lst ultimo, on warrant of commitment to Auckland Prison for one month in default of paying £lO 10s. arrears due on a maintenance order for the support of his illegitimate child, Lawrence Shanahan, age twenty-two, height 5 ft. 9 in., carpenter and cabinetmaker, native of New Zealand, medium build, fair complexion, hazel eyes, large nose, slight scar on face ; usually dressed in a blue suit, dark soft-felt hat, and black boots. His photograph is filed in the Superintendent’s Office, Auckland. Arrears computed to Bth May last.

Napier.— 23rd May last, on warrant of commitment to Dunedin Prison for one month in default of paying £7 Bs. Bd. arrears due on a maintenance order for the support of his wife, Emma Macauley, John Macauley, age fifty-two, height 6 ft., clerk, native of New Zealand, strong build, ruddy complexion, brown hair turning grey, grey eyes, brown moustache, scar on one temple ; usually dressed in a dark Norfolk suit; fond of drink.

Wanganui.— 29th ultimo, on warrant for failing to make adequate provision for the future maintenance of his unborn illegitimate child, John Kenneth Simpson, age twenty one, height 5 ft. 7 in., labourer arid clerk, native of Scotland, medium build, dark complexion, curly black hair, blue eyes; usually dressed in a brown suit and grey cap. Complainant, Ada Lavinia O’Brien.

Dannevirke. —26th ultimo, on warrant for failing to make adequate provision for the future maintenance of bis unborn illegitimate child, John J. Kirk, age about thirty, height sft. 4in., labourer, stout build, fresh complexion, brown hair, blue eyes, Roman nose, scar on bridge of nos", slightly bow-legged; usually dressed in a blue suit and hard black hat. Complainant, Mary Watts, Ngapaeruru.

Wellington.— l4th ultimo, on warrant for assaulting Percy Edward Tremaine, George Wilson, alios White, ago thirty five, height sft. 11 in., native of New Zealand, good build, dark complexion, hair, and eyes; usually dressed in a blue suit and liglit-grey-felt slouch hat.

Wellington.—2Bth ultimo, on warrant for failing to maintain his illegitimate child, Oswald Albert Abbott, age twenty-two, height 5 ft. 4 in., labourer and driver, native of New Zealand, stout build, dark complexion, black hair, dark-brown eyes. Complainant, Amy Louisa Rose Freeman, 52 Karori Road.

Wellington. —2nd ultimo, on warrant for being absent from the s.s. “ Warrimoo "without leave, Douglas, age thirty, height 5 ft. 6 in., trimmer, native of England, strong build, sallow complexion, dark hair and eyes.

Wellington. —22nd ultimo, on warrant of commitment to Wellington Prison for forty-eight hours in default of paying 10s. fine for assault, Harry Lewis, age twenty-six, height sft. Tin., labourer and fireman, native of England, medium build, fresh complexion, dark brown hair, hazel eyes.

Christchurch. —24th ultimo, on warrant for failing to make adequate provision for the future maintenance of his unborn illegitimate child, Sidney Cox, age nineteen, height sft. 3 in., farm labourer, native of New Zealand, medium build, sallow complexion, fair hair, blue eyes, clean-shaved ; usually dressed in a navy blue suit and black felt hat; winks when speaking. Christchurch. —lst November, 1910, on warrant for failing to comply with the terms of a maintenance order for the support of his wife, Richard Stevens, age fortyfour, height 5 ft. 9 in., labourer, native of New Zealand, medium build, sallow complexion, light-brown hair, greenish-grey eyes, one thumb enlarged, one forefinger stiff, scar on one thumb and forefinger. Christchurch.— 26th May last, on warrant of commitment to Lyttelton Prison for seven days in default of paying 15s. fine and costs for a breach of the by laws, Thomas Minge, age twenty-seven, height 5 ft. 10 in., plumber and taxi-driver, native of New Zealand, medium build, fair hair and complexion, blue eyes. Christchurch. — 7th April last, that a summons for a breach of her prohibition order may be served upon her, Mary Murphy, age about forty, height 5 ft. 2 in., domestic, native of New Zealand, medium build, fresh complexion, dark hair, brown eyes.

Dunedin.—l6th ultimo, that a minute of order may be served upon him, William Watt, age about forty-eiyht, height 5 ft. 6 in., cabinetmaker, native of England, sallow complexion, brown hair, blue eyes. (See Police Gazette, 1909, page 468.)

Gore. —2lst March last, that he may be located and the Probation Officer at Gore notified of his whereabouts, John Edward Blonquist, abas Blanquist, alias Skate, age thirty-eight, height 5 ft. 9| in., labourer, native of Finland, strong build, fresh complexion, grey hair, brown eves, long nose, some front teeth missing; usually dressed in a dark-tweed suit and dark-tweed overcoat and cap.
