Ohaeawai. —On or about the 24th December, 1915, from a paddock at Ohaeawai, the property of C. T. DOBSON, a brown pony mare, about 14 hands 1 in., large white star on forehead ; value, £5. Identifiable.

Duntroon —Between the 23rd December, 1915, and the 7th January, 1916, the Defence Hall was broken into and the following articles, the property of the NEW ZEALAND GOVERNMENT (Defence Department), stolen therefrom: A 22-calibre class-firing rifle (heavy pattern) similar to

N 7 •303 rifle but without magazine, with 367 stamped on barrel; 830 rounds of rim-fire 22-calibre cartridges ; 300 rounds of ‘303 cartridges ; and a military overcoat: total value, £ll 15s. 6d. Identifiable.
