INQUIRIES, ETC., FROM OUTSIDE NEW ZEALAND.

Sydney (New South Wales).-- -24th November, 1915. Inquiries are requested to trace the whereabouts of Rubina Turner or Gaebel, last heard of on the 12th ultimo, at Burrindong, when she expressed her intention of going to Sydney, enroute to New Zealand. Description: Twenty-seven years of age, 5 ft. 7 in. or 8 in. high, slight build, dark complexion, black hair, small mole on each cheek, gold tooth in left jaw ; generally dressed in dark clothes and black-velvet toque. If located, a communication is to be sent to the Commissioner of Police, Wellington. (See New South Wales Police Gazette, 1915, page 564.)

Perth (Western Australia.) —12th ultimo, on warrant for theft of a cheque for £3l, the property of the West Australian Branch of’the Australian Workers’ Union, at Perth, on the 14th July last, Thomas Lieshman Brown, native of England, age between forty-five and fifty, late secretary of the West Australian Branch of the Australian Worker’s Union, height about 6 ft., stout build, about 15 stone, thin black hair turning grey, heavy dark eyebrows, dark eyes, longish nose, thick lips, sallow complexion, repulsive appearance. If any information be obtained regarding accused an urgent communication is to be sent to the Commissioner of Police, Wellington.
