Hobart. Florence Maud Elizabeth Kershaw. Description : Height about 5 ft. 4 in. (age not given), slight build, fair hair ; wears glasses. Is said to have left Hobart in March, 1914, for New Zealand, in company with one Philip Belton, who is described as about 6 ft., good build, tanned complexion, dark hair; a native of Queensland. Uturoa (Windward Islands). —Advice has been received that the following articles have been stolen at Uturoa (French Settlement, Oceania) on the 7th ultimo: Four £1 notes (English), four gold 20-frano pieces, one gold 10-franc piece, fifteen sovereigns or half-sovereigns (English), an ancient gold 5-frano Chilian piece, a canvas bag containing six hundred 5-franc pieces, a canvas bag containing a certain sum in French money, a canvas beg containing about fifty francs in copper money, a number of Indo-Chinese banknotes, a number of 5-franc pieces, eight 100-franc IndoChinese bank-notes, and five 20-franc Indo-Chinese banknotes. It is believed that an attempt may be made to dispose of the money in this Dominion. Any information regarding same is to be communicated to the Commissioner of Police, Wellington. (P. 15/1525.)
