Auckland.—7th instant from the person of GEORGE EDWARD ANDREWS, four Bank of New Zealand £lO notes, Nos. 188442, 188444, 165846, and 182980; and two £1 notes. Identifiable except £1 notes.

Auckland. —Between 11 p.m. on the 20th and 2 p.m. on 21st instant, from a bedroom at 97 Symonds Street, the property of AGNES WILSON, a lady’s 18 ct. gold ring, claw-set with five diamonds. Value, £ls. Identifiable.

Auckland.— 9th instant, the property of SKEATS AND WHITE, a gentleman’s free-wheel bicycle, No. 61120, blackenamelled with red lines, upturned handles, with two brake levers on them, two rim-brakes, pump, bell, and tool-bag attached; value, £6 10s. Identifiable. The bicycle was hired out to a boy giving the name Henry Wilson, age about twelve, height about 4 ft. 6 in., thin build, supposed sallow complexion, fair hair. He may be identical with suspect of the same name referred to in Police Gazette, 1915, page 129.

Auckland. —MEßSON BROS.’ premises broken into : Two of the 22-calibre revolvers have been recovered by the Auckland police, and Eric Street and Selwyn Hodges arrested for the offence. The remainder of the stolen property has not been recovered. (See Police Gazette, 1915, page 145.)

New Plymouth.— On or about the 16th instant, from a tent, the property of LEONARD PAUL, Inglewood, a £lO note ; three £5 notes ; four £1 notes ; and a sovereign-case : total value, £29. Sovereign-case only identifiable. Suspicion is attached to a Man (name unknown), age about twentysix, height about 5 ft. 10 in., supposed labourer, stout build, reddish complexion.

Waverley.— Between the sth and 20th ultimo, from a paddock at Kohi, the property of LOUIS GUSTAV BREMER, about twelve four-tooth purebred Lincoln rams, earmarked with a square piece out of the bottom of each ear and a V-shaped piece out of the tip of right ear; and two purebred stud Lincoln rams similarly earmarked (one has a black spot on shin) ; total value, £IOO. Identifiable.

Dannevirke. —22nd instant, from Andrews’s Hotel, the property of TIMOTHY MORIARTY, two blue blankets ; a black, green, and red striped rug; a razor and strop; a shaving-brush; three pairs of woollen socks; a dark-tweed suit; two towels ; a small mirror; and a pair of spectacles, all tied up in a black, grey, green, and red check rug : total value, £5. Identifiable. Suspicion is attached to Thomas Yates, age forty-two, height 5 ft. B|d. in., labourer, native of New Zealand, stout build, fresh complexion, brown hair. Woodville. —On or about the 22nd instant, from WILLIAM EDWARD GRANT’S hotel, a gentleman’s blackenamelled Eagle bicycle, 22 in. frame, Eadie Coaster hub, back-pedalling brake, rat-trap pedals (cranks twisted) ; value, £6 6s. Identifiable. Suspicion is attached to a Man (name unknown), age about twenty-four, height 5 ft. 6 in., slight build, sallow complexion, scar on forehead ; well dressed in a blue suit, dark-tweed cap, green muffler with white stripes, and greenish-tweed overcoat. He had an accordeon with him.

Wellington. —Between 9.30 p.m. on the 19th and 5 a.m. on the 20fh, from a bedroom at the Club Hotel, Masterton, the property of ERNEST MILLER, a brown-leather oblong pocket-wallet, “ E. Milrtr” in ink on inside; four cheques for £lO each, drawn bv John Wyatt on the Bank of Australasia, Melbourne ; ten cheques for £5 each, drawn by John Wyatt on the Bank of Australasia, Melbourne ; three £lO notes; two £5 notes; a Huddart-Parker Melbourne-New Zealand (saloon) steamer ticket in the name of E. Miller ; and a first-class tourist’s railway ticket in the name of E. Miller, issued at Auckland for the North Island, and which expired on the 25th instant. Identifiable.

Wellington.— 24th ultimo, from Allen Street, the property of YOU WAH, a gentleman’s black-enamelled Raleigh bicycle, No. 342875, upturned handles, dent in front rim ; value, £5. Identifiable.

Mount Cook.— -On the 27th instant, GEORGE TREADGOLD’S dwelling was broken into, and the following articles stolen: A gentleman’s gold signet ring, set with an oblong dark-green stone; a gentleman’s gold horse-shoe tie-pin, set with pearls ; a gentleman’s gold tie-pin, consisting of two small tusks joined in the centre with a gold band ; a lady's tie-pin, consisting of a gold heart and chain; a gentleman’s gold-mounted horse-tooth tie-pin ; a lady’s gold bangle, § in. wide, plain on one side, chased on the other, with a chain attached, somewhat similar to illustration No. 66 in Police Gazette, 1911, page 5 ; a gold double-bar brooch, with a diamond-shaped centre, set with a ruby and opals, somewhat similar to illustration No. 48 in Police Gazette, 1911, page 4; a gentleman’s gold chain, supposed belcher pattern, with a small heart-shaped locket attached, but very much worn; a lady’s gold ring, set with three pearls in round gold centre ; and a lady’s gold ring, set with a green stone: total value, £l7 ss, Identifiable.
